    bed rotting is when you stay in bed for extended periods of time-not to sleep, but to do passive activities like watch TV, eat snacks, and scroll on your phone 🙌🏼
    this is a sign that your nervous system might be stuck in a functional freeze response, a survival mechanism that kicks in when you experience intense / long-term stress or trauma

    I'm so glad you mentioned the meditation part. I spent years trying to meditate only to feel worse and was told my medical and therapy experts that wasn't possible ❤

    Thankyou for mentioning how long you suffered in functional freeze❤I had my guard up (obviously coz I live in extreme freeze state not so much functional lol) but seeing that helped me take on more of what you said and feel soothed temporarily. It reminds me to keep trying to break out of this state as I have suffered numerous traumas beyond my control since a baby. Thankyou again❤ I wish I had the money to do your course unfortunately I’m in an ends meet situation where it’s food or a roof over my head for the night.     Its weird but I never started doing this until recently, AFTER I started antidepressants. I assumed that before that I was too anxious and in flight mode to relax but its turning into that I CANT get out of bed unless I have to

    i’ve been doing this for 4 years. no clue how to stop, it’s very hard. i’ve lost muscle, weight, mentality, social interaction, and stamina. i’m so weak it’s crazy

    Shit I just did this for 3 weeks, today was day 1 of that’s enough 🙃 so I walk/Ran, did some yoga and went to the orthopedist instead of canceling it or rescheduling it
