Back in the day, our community didn't tolerate mediocre singers. You had to bring it! That is why we had so many great singers in gospel, jazz, the blues and R& B. Few singers to day even come close the greats. So glad I know what "real good music" is!

They both wore white suits and Johnnie had diamonds every where! When Dorothy Moore sang Misty Blue, the audience went crazy and she sang it twice! That was a show of shows!!
