    I love the relationship you and Rachel have. It is awesome to see brother and sister that, clearly, enjoys teaming up together. Shows a lot of character. You have a diverse group surrounding you and you show great respect and appreciation for everyone. That’s rare, and I think it’s why people gravitate to you.

    Before registering the bus and buying insurance you might need to check the requirements as regarding the number of seats. It might be as simple and removing some of the seats before registration to get cheaper insurance and driver license requirements.

    Which buses (any style) have 6'4" roof tops? I'm 5'11 3/4" and I know sub flooring and final flooring are going to eat up at least 3 inches, plus overhead insulation and paneling will be 1-2". I need the maximum or a roof raise but I have no welding experience so it would be super costly.

    How do you do tight turns in a school bus?

    • @navigationnowhere
      @navigationnowhere  3 роки тому

      If it is a short bus or flat nose bus turning can be easier than you might think because of the smaller wheel base. A larger dog nose school bus will take a few K-turns depending on where you are driving.

    If I buy a bus in FL and I don't have a FL license I cant register it. At least that has been my experience with buying a car here. I am a New Yorker. So if you buy a bus out of your home state, how do you get it home with no plates and just insurance?

    Hello! New to the channel. I have a question for you guys.
    I understand that the roof on buses can be raised, but can you add footage to a short bus?
    If you bought a short bus and noticed you needed a few feet of living space, could you stretch the back of the bus to add that footage?
    Thank you!

    My advice for registration and insurance? We went through an insurance broker, asked for actual cash value insurance, so it’s nearly fully insured, minus the time you put in.$60 a month. It was much easier to get it titled as an rv when we already had full rv coverage👍🏼. Every state is different.. reach out to your state dmv to see what your state requires for your bus to be an rv. Thx again for your vids and inspiration mike! -cam+kat wonderboy bus

    • @gblakev
      @gblakev 4 роки тому

      This really depends on what state you are in. In some states you don't need to have a driver's license from that state to register a vehicle, but you do need to have an address, a place of residence in that state. I know this is true for Massachusetts. Insurance may be more challenging, so research that before you do anything. I think it's better if you have a longer visa too - 3 months or more. There are videos of travelers from Europe in North America. See if they have any information.
