This was the first boat Sandy and I toured together where we felt comfortable and took our time trying to point out all the features we found. I don't want to make videos like a typical broker tour so we may not give you all the specs but hopefully you find them entertaining and more importantly we have fun! Any constructive criticism is welcome.
You did very well. I do like seeing in the cabinets, drawers, and closets, so ignore the 1 naysayer and keep up the good work. You never know what's hidden behind a door until you open it. I've seen great additions hidden that've surprised the presenters too. Thank you both.
I think you did a very good job of presenting the ship. 2200 hours on the engines barely wears the cross-hatch in the cylinders. They entire engine room looked well maintained. I'd want an oven and microwave, but they're cheap, and there's room for both. Thank you 2, and the broker.
You're absolutely right, that is one well maintained engine room! Cummins is my choice over the Detroits which have higher fuel consumption. But MANY larger boats of this era are equipped with Detroits, so no problem getting parts or having them rebuilt.
Your doing fine, every video you make you will get better Just make sure you review your footage, and look for ways of saying it better, Denny from Minnesota
I use to review for Sail Away, helped many with their podcasts I will continue to give you my thoughts on your podcasts If you like, I'm glad you put in engine hours etc it's essential For your type of podcast, food for thought, you don't have to Open the drawers,, better to just point them out, Walk in closets To show the room they have are the exception, or under bed Storage, I'm actually looking for a Great Loop boat, that's how I came across your show , another tip the Boating Market has crashed Which is good, the asking price on his Hatteras is way out of line Check out, In Too Deep, he has a very good podcast and just sold His Hatteras , keep up the good work, and I will continue to give you my thoughts on the show, Denny from Minnesota
Confused by this comment. Why do you need to rebuild the engines? Before purchasing I would have fluid samples tested, check compression, fuel pressure check, tank condition, bottom checked, etc.
Also at 4:02 the grammer cop caught "port side"? And my world doesn't change because of a mistake. I guess it is ok to correct but it seems kind of petty. Thank you for the video.

In two years this boat will turn 30 y/o. Looks in good shape tho.
I’m just getting started at 45 lol
@@HarborYachtTours Haha! I just turned 67 with 43 years in service.
You really have no idea of what to call things on a boat. Threw holes? On suite?
It’s thru-hull and en-suite. Thanks for watching.

On land it's actually called a "Jack and Jill" bathroom. That's the proper name for it.
Maybe if the buyer could split the $50,000 engine rebuild cost with the owner. So, $97,500.
Why would the engine need to be rebuilt? Diesels can go for 20,000 hours.

start concerns at 5K. small rebuild at 10K and run forever
