The likelihood is that they will slide back down the leagues because they don't have the fanbase to sustain Championship football, but it's a great achievement for a club that size to make it to the Football League at all, let alone the Championship. They were only promoted to the Conference in 2004, so have spent 80%+ of their history at Conference North level or below. They're definitely the smallest club ever to play in England's second tier, which makes the achievement all the more impressive.
