Pozdrawiam z Polski.
Marcin is phenomenal, easily one of the best guitarists in the world right now. This was the first official video on his channel and as good as he is here, he’s a million times better now. He started playing when he was 10, first studying classical ( and winning international competitions) and flamenco, and then coming up with the style he plays now on his own. He currently plays his signature guitar with Ibanez, the MRC10. His career has been varied. He’s played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, opened for OneRepublic (they’re big fans), played on several songs for the soundtrack of the live action version of One Piece on Netflix, and earlier this year taught at Steve Vai’s academy, among many other things. All at the age of 23. Besides being a mind blowing guitarist he is also an amazing composer, arranger and producer. You can’t go wrong with anything you pick from him, whether it be a classical piece, a cover or an original. I can’t wait to see your next reaction💜
Thank you for the info, my friend! Amazing dude! My dilemma is choosing what will be next! I have a very long list of covers and originals. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that someday he's team up with Billy Strings 🤞🤞
marcin was 16 when this was recorded. he's 23 now. you should check out his recent video for a song he composed for his latest album, featuring tim henson of polyphia called "classical dragon". it's 🔥!
Now, Marcin"s cover of "Master of Puppets", please❤ But maybe some classical as "Toccata" or "Caprice no 5". Anything of Marcin is a great piece of music ❤
Pan Marcin jest najlepszy w tym co robi. Nikt mi nie udowodni, że ktoś gra lepiej w tym stylu. Pan Marcin używa instrumentu w swoisty sposób. Dziękuję za Twoją reakcję. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 👍👍💕
Marcin was on my request list for you too. He is from Poland and started playing classical guitar at the age of 10. He then practiced in the flamenco style and developed his own approach to percussive acoustic guitar. He was a contestant on America's Got Talent in 2019 and reached the semi-finals. He's incredibly talented and plays classical music as well as modern music. He also composes his own songs, like "Hush", "Baba Yaga", " Storm", "Salt" and "Paper Thin Sky" that you can find on his channel. For some more modern music I recommend his rearrangement of Metallica's "Master of Puppets" or Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir". For classical music check out "Beethoven's 5th symphony", "Paganini's Caprice no. 24" or "Für Elise". Also his video "When NBA Hires Just One Guitarist for a Halftime Show" is fun to watch. Marcin is my favorite guitarits. He's the best!
He's an amazing musician! I can't wait to check it all out! Paganini?!? Big fan here. After reading your comment I went to his channel and wrote down even more songs. He does two Paganini compositions: Caprice no.24 as you mentioned and Caprice no.5, as well. And then from Paganini to Sinatra with Fly Me To The Moon! Another favorite artist of mine! I'm looking forward to your request, my friend!
Go for it! Master of Puppets, Carmen Habanera, Baba Yaga and his last compose Classical Dragon feat. Tim Henson. And many, many more... Marcin is genius!
Yes, this kid is very talented.❤ My favorite is Marcin Patrzalek and Ichika Nito doing the short "Just the 2 of us" guitar duet. Two top worldclass incredible talents in perfect harmony. 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
Thank you, my Dear friend! I've heard the name Ichika Nito before but not familiar with him. Another rabbit hole!!! I appreciate you, Renee! Much love ❤️❤️
I highly recommend Rob Scallon's interview with Marcin. I love this video. Marcin explains how he plays and both Rob and Marcin improvise and play togather. I absolutely love Marcin's personality!
Marcin sounds like a good guy. That's important to me if I'm going to be going down this rabbit hole. I'll have to check out that interview! Thank you, my friend! 🤘❤️🤘
Marcin is a genius, a virtuoso with enormous musical knowledge and education, a composer and arranger, but he is also phenomenal at improvising on an instrument. Currently, he has a guitar that he invented with his dad, manufactured and signed by the Ibanez company. The guitar behaves like a kahon. Each of his songs shows something new, some trick he does on the guitar. He is also a great person with a very friendly personality. Be sure to check out all of his performances.
I like hearing about the artist on a personal level. Happy to hear such positive comments. I can understand why he would design a guitar with the percussive qualities of a cajon (Kahon) since his style is uniquely percussive. I have a very long list of songs he does and can't wait for more! Thank you, my friend!
Great artist indeed ! Your reaction was incredible , thank you Bill ! I really love his performance with Tim Henson - Classical Dragon ua-cam.com/video/FGM3U3buQj0/v-deo.html & Ain't No Sunshine on One Guitar ua-cam.com/video/ZI5RRwQSyyE/v-deo.html
I thought he was fantastic and would also like to hear his interpretation of Master of Puppets. I also learned a new term today -- dreadnaught guitar. Is that the usual style for a acoustic guitar or is it specially made for a specific purpose? The thing looks almost as big as he is.
It's the body shape and the string type that makes acoustics different. A dreadnaught shape is larger than other acoustic guitars and usually take steel or bronze strings. Classical and Flamenco guitars take nylon strings and have a smaller body but a wider fretboard. That's a very short answer, my friend, but I think you get the idea. The dreadnaught style with it's steel strings is just more versatile for various styles of music. It's the type John Denver and all folk/country artists play, for example. I'm told he was only 16 when he recorded this! he's 23 now and has a very diverse selection of music: Beethoven to Billy Joel. Pink Floyd to Prince. Kid is phenomenal! ❤️❤️
To też specjalna gitara. Zresztą jest wywiad na YT, którego udzielił Rob Scalone. Tam jest w zasadzie wszystko, kim jest Marcin i czym jest jego muzyka. Pozdrawiam z Polski
Hi there. I like your reaction, so you've got my sub. I would like to suggest to check in out Marcin music from the older releases to the new ones, to see huge progress in his technique. Please, check Tall Fiddler arranged by Marcin. Have a good damn day.
