Hi thanks for the video!! The Sculpey u used is “Original” Sculpey which is used for sculptures. Artists Do Not use Original Sculpey for jewelry bcuz it does not stand up to the wear & tear of being hit around.
If you were to use “Sculpey Premo” or “Sculpey Souffle” try those, if u have not already. I am watching this video 2 yrs after the fact. Sculpey Premo & Sculpey Souffle will most definitely stand the test of time. U use Sculpey, Fimo Soft, Cernit. Again Thank you for sharing ur results

Thanks for the tips! I have a few different sculpey types so I'll try those out as well.

What length of time would you recommend for thicker pieces ? Little animal models etc ? Or would 60 minutes be enough for them also ?

For little animal models around the size I sculpt, I now bake them for 1-1.5 hours and they turn out well. For anything thicker, add more time. As long as you keep the oven temperature below the clay's burning temperature (usually 250-275°F for most brands) you could bake your models several hours and never worry about burning them.
