I did a parking survey for a company several years ago. The city may not want to admit it but in South Beach there is no parking at any hotels, so in order to stay at a hotel there you MUST PAY FOR VALET parking service at $35 A DAY. And as I say they city is getting rich because the ONLY parking is in city lots that the hotels rent for the valets to park cars in. You are looking at a lot of money there and they city is complaining about all they people while taking their money and a 23% surcharge from every room. IN short if the city wanted to they could limit the people...if they really wanted to

If the curfew is in effect, why did South Beach Businesses stay open? If the businesses close with the curfew, the Spring Break Crowd has fewer places to go/hide or drink.

I heard my cousin tell us once, in the past different people in Fort Lauderdale stopped having Spring bracks because of unruly groups of collage students and bystanders. I guess the city of Miami Beach, eventually will be forced to stop having this event. because not only disrespect these young people have for each other, But for the locals and the business, like eating and leave without paying the bill, loss of revenue and destruction of property Me I would cancel this event forever. If the curfew is in effect, why did South Beach Businesses stay open? If the businesses close with the curfew, the Spring Break Crowd has fewer places to go/hide or drink.

Miss my road trips to Montreal. June 2019 was last visit and go 3 to 5 times a year ! They moved the curfew they have to 9:30 pm now. Not worth a 7 hour drive . This years one trip for sure not looking that good.
