As an Engineer, i realy happy when i have instruction videos like that. I think in 2022 beside instruction books on board we will need more soft doccuments like videos from Man B&W
Would it not make sense to pressure test it before installation of the safety wire? Sure would be a pain in the ass to have to cut that back off again!
For renewal of ME liner (MAN B&W SMC), do we hv to remove the jacket first or pull out the liner together with jacket or pull only the liner n leave the jacket in place ?
William Evans Because the piston rods go straight up and down in the bore. The piston rod connects the piston to the crosshead, which slides up and down on rails. The connecting rod goes between the crosshead and the crankshaft.
