Steve, has anything got better since this video? I was about ready to decide to dive into selling on Amazon and maybe buy your course to make sure I'm successful, but this video has me rethinking that idea and I will probably not sell on Amazon now. It sounds like it would take more work to beat back these evil people that everything else I would have to do.
Amazon has made an effort to beat back bad Chinese sellers but there's still malicious activity. I wouldn't let that stop you though
amazon gets its % rather its counterfeit or not so I believe any attempt at going after counterfeit products is just Press management... and also they still get the same cut if its you or some other guy selling it so what difference to them does it make whos selling it especially when there's 5 other people looking to replace you anyway
These sellers are absolutely toxic and depraved. The only way to avoid this 100% is to find a near dead niche that has potential, and dominate it, or sell under other listings.
That's a little extreme:) But it pays to stay under the radar

They don't to piggy back the reviews for another item. Like a Bug zapper.
They take the ASIN
And then change the brand name.
i got hit with competitor buying and cancelling orders every 2-3 mins holding up inventory. 2000 orders in one day cancelled. How do you get around this?
You report this to Amazon. That's your only option

Hi Steve, I know this video is from 2 years ago. As a person who want to start selling on amazon immediately, I want to know your opinion about starting it on 2023. I know in every business has competition and it's good. But as long time seller as you stated in this video, amazon business was getting dirty player and evil seller everywhere unavoidable rather than healthy competition. Do you still recommend to start on this business? Is still there any room to grow on amazon?

Hi stave, I was attacked by 2 of the evil tactics you mentioned, it is so frustrating~ There are like 4 fake accounts piggy backing my listing with super cheap price, I had to lower mine and loose money to protect myself. They are from China and I have to wait a month to get their product and prove it is not my brand and is fake. I got approved by Amazon Brand registry and still not getting much protection...
I don’t think I want to sell on Amazon anymore lol

It's getting worse
So sad some people can’t learn to be authentic and put down other seller for their own succeed, I hope those who play dirty don’t succeed, is kinda scary to know what those people do in their real life
