    need more of these!! I'm sad the videos of this started to fall off, this is my favorite way to enjoy such chess matches and i've probably watched it 100 times by now, i've learned a surprising amount from all four no talking videos

    i love that in these no talking videos how animated you make the little pieces and their moves and like explain the ideas - makes it just as engaging to follow along even without the talking! its like you can hear your voice but its not there haha

    truly can not get enough of the tapping, catch myself scrubbing the video looking for it. i get it’s hard to tap, explain and move the pieces but maybe a layered sound video? love the videos in general tho

    I think a very interesting video that you could do would be “how to capitalize on an opponent’s subtle mistakes” I think that would be helpful to me and a lot of other amateur players

    Not gonna lie i prefer with the voice, it sounds better and i also watch this channel to learn
    Btw is it possible to have some videos about openings like the one for the dragon variation? It was the best vid on this channel in my opinion.
    A video on puzzles could be interesting as well

    21:05 can someone help me understand why he moved his rook next to his king rather than blocking the pawn. It looks like a huge mistake, is that all it is or was there a good reason behind it??

    What is your favorite piece
    Mine is the knight ( it’s movement pattern is unique and allows for special plays
    Also what is your opinion on the French defense I’ve been told to learn it but personally don’t like it

      Because it Knight can’t go anywhere to even check the white king, let alone checkmate.

    5:44 Why wouldn't he just move back to d8? It's an obvious draw by repetition. If white takes trades the queen for the bishop with the discovered check, black takes the bishop, and both players' attacks are dead on the spot. However, black is up a rook in an endgame vs just a rook and bishop.
    So obviously white's only choice was to checkmate or draw. Very confusing choice.

      No you missed mate in 1. In fact the mate is with the exact same move that happened in the game: Bxe7#
      A good tip: If you are looking at a master-level game and you find something “obvious” that you Think the players overlooked it is a very good idea to check your idea in depth. Chances are that you just missed something.
