As for me I am new to Shopify and just opened one but I cant find videos that talking about general or niche store. Is there a different way when you open one. And can you tell us this is how you open a general one ☝🏽 and this how you open the niche or one product one
Hi Hawa, thanks for the great questions! The difference is in the purpose of these types of stores. A general store can be helpful for testing products and figuring out a winning product to market and sell. It's a store with multiple products of different variety and categories. On the otherhand, a niche store means a very specific product type within a specific category which is being marketed to a certain demographic. "One Product" stores are essentially niche stores that focus on selling one specific product. There is no formula for opening any of these store types, it's simply what interests you! Yes how do know to put in the right Stock Keeping Units for each products, also what HS code do you use if your are selling physical product like t-shirts
Hi there! When it comes to the stock amount you can put in any number, or you can make the stock unlimited so that it never runs out. The choice is yours! With the HS code this will depend where you're located and you can do a Google search for HS code and where you're located and you should find a list of options. You can install a dropshipping app on your store, which will allow you to sell products from AliExpress to your customers. Adopting the dropshipping business model on your store frees you up from having to stock or ship the products on your end. This means that you can simply list a product for sale on your store, and to notify your AliExpress supplier to ship the product on your behalf each time an order comes through! So I'm confused about the SKU. Is it the made up code that only makes sense to us or is it the amount of stock you have on hand for any specific item?
Hi, there! A SKU, or 'Stock Keeping Unit' is just a series of identifying characters you will assign to your products for internal purposes. Is this your first time selling online?
Is it possible to sync the colors variants with different pictures for each color within one product page? For example if a customer wants to click between black, white or grey how can I put it in so that they picture will change according to the color? Or is it easier to make a product for each color?
