The only thing that gets me is that we're having trouble making sales in the first place and then every single one of these apps costs us more money we're not making every month. 30 days isn't very much time to gain traction on the internet.
I do agree that execution is a key player for the store success. But is having the ability to execute a skill that can be learned? Or are some people just natural in doing it? Personally, for me, the reason why I lost focus on managing the store I built is that I couldn't secure a payment gate in my country. Which I do consider something very fundamental to an ecommorce store. But hope is not lost as I am doing some research on creating LLC in the US through stripe atlas.
Hi, there. If you're inquiring about payment on delivery or local bank transfers, I recommend checking out our resource on manual payment methods: bit.ly/45z2jQC. When your customers use a manual payment method, you can arrange to receive their payment in a way that works best for them. You can send an invoice to your customer. After you receive the payment, you can then manually approve the order.
Thanks for your reply. I can definitely understand the importance of wanting to reduce the number of abandoned carts. Thanks for your helpful advice and enthusiasm. Do you have any videos/advice on how to offer innovative discounts that wont eat up ones profit margins? Thanks for all you are doing. I am listening.
I don't know anything about this. My Shopify site is finally set up. But my Title page and Product Description was written how I wanted to write it. It's humorous and engaging and I don't want to change it. And I explain a few things and give the shirt description i.e. 100% cotton...so on... My store is four T-shirt designs. The title of one of the designs mentions "shinning sun, doves, clarion call for our home". The description of each T-shirt design that shoppers will read when clicking on the T-shirt design they're interested in, are mostly the same but with a few a few things mentioned that are tailored to that particular design. I don't know how to do this now, being I'm not going to change the creative and engaging descriptions of my designs. I have my Alt page of my four designs set up with the same four Titles as on my Description Page but a detailed description of each design. I don't know how I can work an SEO into all of this. I have to change my Title and Product Description page to be better SEO?

Try asking for feedback and information about Shopify Stores on Twitter! There is a fantastic Shopify Ecosystem on Twitter filled with developers, employees, and business owners that are always chatting about Shopify and stores!
We don't have a specific group on Twitter for this - to clarify, we were referring to and suggesting that merchants can post publicly on Twitter to ask the wider Twitter community for direct product and store feedback. Hope that helps!
Sounds good! Just a reminder too, in case you aren't aware, that we also have a Store Feedback board here: bit.ly/3X32Mp8 in our Community Forums. Feel free to create an account and post there too, if you're looking for specific feedback for your store.
Started my ecom some years ago, on marketplaces ebay etc....added shopify after 2 years of messing with magento and other legacy platforms, then got pissed at shopify store for being slow and was told by my devs that its the best I can get, since it's Shopify and you can't do anything with performance unless you go to enterprise...went to wordpress for 2 years. Took 1 year of building out a site with 4 different teams, all the meanwhile paying 20% commissions to poshmark, ebay, amz etc... now going back to shopify, after starting to re-learn everything i thought i knew about ecommerce... when you're working in your business, it's very difficult to work on your business and take a 60000ft view of the entire landscape...oh well better late than never 😅

Hey, Suzan. Entrepreneurship always has its ups and downs. But it's important to push through the lows to get back up. Let's try a few things to get those ramping up. I've shared some tips for you below: To increase your sales, consider expanding your product offerings to include different types of art, such as prints or digital downloads. Additionally, review your social media strategy to ensure that you are reaching your target audience effectively. You can do this by reviewing your hashtags and engaging with your followers. Are you posting consistently and at the right times? Consider partnering with influencers or artists in your niche to help promote your products and reach a larger audience. By making these adjustments and trying new strategies, you can increase your chances of making more sales and growing your business. -Rio

Hey John! We totally understand that. Starting a new business is a lot, especially if you've never done it before. We recommend starting off with manageable tasks. Sharing a product post a day on your Facebook Shop or Instagram. Then work up to Instagram Reels, UA-cam Shorts and Tiktok content. The most important part is consistency, even if it's just a post on Instagram a day, make sure it is every day! Consistent content is the key.

Passion is still here, but we are very limited with options for example offering different promotions due to the low profit margin. Any advice?
Do you build sites for customers in the United States?
Hello dear building a successful store for people in USA 🇺🇸 market and I can also help you as well
The only thing that gets me is that we're having trouble making sales in the first place and then every single one of these apps costs us more money we're not making every month. 30 days isn't very much time to gain traction on the internet.
Hello there
Hello, I am setting up shopify store for one month but still did not receive any order, anybody guide me in this regards, many thanks
Local bank transfer? Payment on delivery?
@Mohd A. yes, I am using cash on delivery now. But still, I am seeing a high cart abandonment rate on checkout
Thanks for your reply. I can definitely understand the importance of wanting to reduce the number of abandoned carts. We've listed here (bit.ly/3oFfVt1) some ways to help minimize the number of abandoned carts. You can explore simplifying the checkout, sending abandoned cart emails or starting a rewards program - just to name a few.
It takes hundreds, thousands, and even millions of people to create a vast market for your goods... But takes only one skill to direct all those millions to your stores, catalogs, blog posts, or adverts to purchase your PRODUCT. THE SKILL TO MASTER THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MARKET AND HUMAN DESIRES
Hello, first off, thank you for this video. Recently I started making my Shopify store and I need your advice: how should I increase audiences? How I can make ADS to be more comfortable? and How should I find the products that are affordable for Shopify?
Hi there, Saeed! We've got info here on how to drive more traffic to your site: shopify.link/gm08 and how to find products to sell: shopify.link/xL4l that you can check out.

I am a customer and will never again shop from an online store using Shopify. I am sick of their practice where i have to “untick” so they don’t save your data. They do it this way because they know most of us are pretty tick to untick. Decent people do it the other way around but they won’t
Got a few sales from family and friends. I sell wall art. Should I make more artwork before marketing? I currently have 5. Thanks!
I was like Andrew when I tried Print on Demand. Ain't planning on making that same mistake with Dropshipping.

When testing one product at a time, if it fails should I get a new domain or keep using the same domain for each product I test?
How to I complete my shopify store can you give me some

First thing you should do is learn how to spell and form a sentence.
I already know make a store tell me how to sell the product
When will ‘first day to first sale’ launch?
Hi, do you do any private work on helping with conversions and sales_
Hello! i can help you to get sales into your shopify store. But firstly i will like to ask you a question which is what marketing strategies have implemented in your shopify store so far?
I have to change my Title and Product Description page to be better SEO?
you really are engaging, it is fun to listen to you and I learn as well. good work
I am struggling with my Shopfy Store. Spending 100$ a day and not seeing sells. It's very disappointing
Hi there, Jeremie! If you're already seeing decent traffic numbers in your store you might next need to work on increasing your Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to get more of those visitors converting into customers: shopify.link/ovG4.
Start a blog on your Shopify store.
What do you sell?
please be real :) did you make up this story? 👀 p.s. no hate, just curious. awesome vid tho!
Hi Michelle, Can you talk about reseller? I have an online shop on shopify and somebody ask me If they can sell my products on their shop. Thank you
Hi, Catherine! Thank you for the suggestion. To clarify, are you hoping to help this person sell your products on their store?
@@learnwithshopify Yes, I would like to have more visibility.
Thank you for clarifying that! Are you able to tell us more about what you're hoping to do? For example, is this person trying to sell your products on their own Shopify store? What kind of information are you looking for more visibility into?
@@learnwithshopify I would like sell my products in physical shops. I would like to expand my business. For example, do you gisou? they started to sell online, but now they have their products in a physical shops like Sephora, Douglas and ect. Same with other brand. Kylie cosmetics, fenty beauty ect.
Thanks for providing that information! Shopify allows you to host your own online store, and provide you the tools you need to build and expand your business, but when it comes to building, negotiating, and making deals with retailers to have your products on their shelves, this will be something you'll be doing yourself. We do have some resources available to help businesses with this expansion step, which you can find here at this link: shopify.link/x4V0.

Hello, I am enjoying your lecture. Currently, I am openinging an etsy shop.but, I'm trying to open another shop in addition to shopify , but I can't use same brand name. So do I have to register two businesses? And Do they pay me later if I sell my stuff on shopify?

I do not understand how to "test" with this A/B thing. I signed up for tictok but could not understand what to even do FIRST...i.e. how to even "pin" something or make a post or whatever you call it there. Setting up facebook and instagram to work with my shopify was a horrible series of events that brought me to tears on multiple occasions. This is really hard for me. Everyone's explanations always seem to assume I know wtf I'm doing. I need someone to explain it to me like I am the total beginner at age 53 that I am. I am trying to sell globally but I do not understand the shipping. How do I know how much this shirt costs to ship to Argentina and Canada? How do I make them both right? I use printify for POD. That is where the shipping will take place not shopify. How do I make THAT work? Please advise!
@learnwithshopify I'm curious about the product research (reddit / facebook groups). I keep wanting to get some opinion/ research from the community groups but a lot of the groups / reddits all have rules with referral links. I'm curious how you can get research on your store without posting your links and getting banned from the community groups.
Try asking for feedback and information about Shopify Stores on Twitter! There is a fantastic Shopify Ecosystem on Twitter filled with developers, employees, and business owners that are always chatting about Shopify and stores!
@@learnwithshopify cool. Can I have link to the group? Thanks
We don't have a specific group on Twitter for this - to clarify, we were referring to and suggesting that merchants can post publicly on Twitter to ask the wider Twitter community for direct product and store feedback. Hope that helps!
@@learnwithshopify thank you for reply. I will definitely look for them
Sounds good!

Hey..
I m going to built my ecommerce store in UAE 🇦🇪. Is shopify really helpful for scaling online sales
I started my shop last year, and I'm using my social media channels to drive traffic. I was able to sell last year but this year I sold 0 paintings!
Hey, Suzan. Entrepreneurship always has its ups and downs. But it's important to push through the lows to get back up. Let's try a few things to get those ramping up. I've shared some tips for you below:
To increase your sales, consider expanding your product offerings to include different types of art, such as prints or digital downloads.
-Rio

Marketing is the most daunting thing for me. I am working towards a July 1 launch date and the thought of trying to market/build brand awareness gives me anxiety.
