This is what I get for stocking up on film and then losing them for 4 years 😮💨. Really appreciate the walkthrough, attempting to clean my printer now!
Hi! I really need some help with my instax mini 9! Its been a while since I’ve had it and it stopped working. I changed now the batteries and still nothing. I changed the tape into a new one ( the last one got stuck but i figured it out) and its still not working.
Thank you for this video! I wasn't able to get the ink cleaned out completely but I managed to get it so its mostly on the edges of the picture and looks like a very light grey instead of a giant black stripe. The thing that I'm having trouble cleaning now is the little bristle-y thing that's in the slot that the film comes through. That stuff is still covered in ink and I can't get it out (I have an instax mini 9)
I think this is the problem I’m having with my Instax mini. I have one question though. Is it possible to remove the main cover on the film case? I have no way of inserting used film back into the case because of the plastic cover and I’ve found no way to remove it so far. Thank you!
If the film pack is already empty, it's easier to reload the pack if you remove the shiny black tape on the slot that the film comes out of. It is possible to sort of dismantle the whole case-it snaps together but you'll need a lot of force to do it.
I've been going around trying to look for what's wrong with my Instax Mini 9, but the pictures come out and there are white blotches around it. I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with it, was wondering if anyone has gone through the same issue?
My camera printed pictures are washed out and I don’t know the reason is there any reason to fix that I restarted the camera settings. And updated the camera also added a new film. But the pictures also looks washed out and pale
@@xRey7anx Double check camera print settings, filter effect esttings and film simulations if they are on default or off. Could be a problem with the printer part of the camera, I've heard of similar issues replaced within warranty.
@@GoneWithFilm well sadly, I went to somewhere where I thought they would be able to fix it but they told me that the problem is in the camera and I have to change it but my warranty ended and staying with a bad printing. Is there anything I can do like filters or something like that?
This just happened to me with my instax mini 9 :( I tried using your advice but the black streak won’t disappear on the roller.. any other help would be greatly appreciated!!
There's a way to clean the insides of the camera but it has to be partially disassembled to do that. If you're confident that you have the mechanical/tech skills to do that to your camera then here's the short guide to it: 1) Use a guitar pick or old credit card to remove the ejection port cover, the "0" shaped piece of plastic where the film comes out. 2) Once the cover is removed there's a black felt/cloth/rubber material there, clean the gap between the material with cotton buds dampened with a little water. 3) if that still doesn't fix it, the camera will need to be disassembled, front and back covers removed, rollers removed from the assembly and manually cleaned. Then they must be reassembled again.
I wish I would have found this video before I saw the q-tip advice. I’ve completely jammed my rollers and now I’m going to have to get inside of my camera and make sure I pick everything out. Is there any way you could make a tutorial on how to get to the instax mini 8 rollers? I’m not having any luck finding tutorials for that.
Look for any mini 8 disassembly videos and make sure you understand the risks of doing so because its not easy. Basic procedure is to remove the casing screws, pry open the 2 plastic casings to reveal the camera chassis. 2 tension springs hold the rollers together, remove them by taking out 2 long silver screws. You can take out the rollers for cleaning after that.

No power means it's a problem with batteries, wiring or electronics. Try cleaning the batteries, see my video ua-cam.com/video/p4UQ0KE_n24/v-deo.html.
My empty fil holder doesn’t have a hole to place some used film in what should I do ? Helpful video though thanks you
Thank you for this, it helped a lot! ❤

Hello, I wanna ask you, how about to clean instax mini liplay? Please help me
I cleaned it but mine is causing dents down the film which is making the pictures have white spots down the film. I don’t know how to fix it

This happened to my camera thanks so much! Is the chemicals dangerous at all? some went on my hands
It's a little caustic. Might irritate skin but probably will be ok if you washed it off immediately.
Thanks for these tips!
