A reminder that Jennifer's guilty verdict took just under 11 hours. James Crumbley’s jury deliberated for roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes before opting to head home and resume Thursday. As much as I would have preferred to see James on the witness stand, I think it was best that he didn’t testify. Jennifer’s jury didn’t believe what she was selling and I didn’t find her testimony credible or her particularly likable.
Oh so jury went home for night?
@@geribenzel9531yes at 4:45 pm
Or the one annoying defense attorney for Jennifer
Did the dad ever call him an oopsie kid like the mom did? She at least clearly didn't want kids.
Her horse friend testified that Jen told her Ethan her own son was weird.
@@leighann5308 lol
He didn't either. He didn't take of his other kid in Florida.
He has three kids by three different baby mammas! This POS was not a parent to any of them.
@@leighann5308he is!
According to the instructions, I don't understand why the school is not being held liable also. They saw the signs and let him stay in school. I am very impressed with the defense attorney.
WHY WOULD THEY BE. 🫤
I believe the school should be charged as well
@@angeline12345because the school didn't step in to help him
What the hehaw was his attorney doing adjusting his tie and wiping his sports coat like she was his wife. She is emotionally invested . Not ethical at all. 😮
Agree she's been doing this the entire trial very unprofessional!! She's touching him a lot its very weird.
Are you joking?
I thought that too!
Is his attorney doing him? She acts like a wife with that tie thing.
Lol! I think so they are getting 🤔 freaky!!
I too think her actions are odd? Makes me wonder!
I think cuz he was cuffed?I do agree they are a bit 😏 flirty
Court will begin in session soon? Looks like a verdict?
Wow verdict watch already! I must have miss loads! James didn’t testify then. 😮
No he decided not to possibly urged by the Prosecutor not to testify ..
Guilty.he neglected his son by ignoring his needs .the mum was found guilty he should be too.they bought Ethan guns without them being secure
Exactly.... Guilty of NEGLECT!
Side note: As a parent of a bipolar son and being in the healthcare- Most parents don't realize that a child could be the best kid in the world and one day, they change and you can't understand why?! Most males will show signs of depression, bipolar episodes at around 15, when their hormones start. I had to learn this the hard way about 20 years ago. One day our child was a different kid, so be aware of this and educate yourselves on sudden changes in your child. XO
Defense, only 1 witness? Are you not better prepared than that? Maybe that’s because you know it’s a losing battle.
Not live. Jury went home for the night. Watch starts again at 0900.
Missed closings. How long has jury been deliberating?
Guilty, even more so then his wife was. Clearly they never wanted kids and certainly had no desire to be responsible for raising a son with good morals. What really makes me happy is once he is found guilty, then parents could be charged with a murder and attempted murder that their minor children commit.
Claiming he couldn't hear well (without providing a medical report) and trying to create reasonable doubt by not testifying as to the gun situation wouldn't work for me. But he, at least, got a decent lawyer....
The majority of people on these trial chats seem to loathe defense attorneys but if any of us ever found ourselves in need of counsel, we’d sure want a zealous advocate. James Crumbley’s lead lawyer fit that bill.
His lawyer was better than hers
@@geribenzel9531by far, been on this channel for a while and never seen anyone like her.
Both parents are guilty and both have equal accountability in this case …!
Now the school needs to held accountable
Is verdict coming
What time did jury go into deliberations
What’s going on??
What is his lawyer all about , she is a creep 🤢
where were the schools? they didn't know either that he was crying for help?
Prosecutor... Don't lie. Your voice wenches when you said he bought him the gun. You are twisting the truth
Guilty of all charges. Prison for minimum of 30 yrs. no parole ⚖️
Guilty of neglect and stupidity and buying a firearm for a minor but not of manslaughter
@@realityreviews2314 i say when it comes to the lives of children, Death Penalty should be their Sentence.
Brutal 😣
This shooting was an absolute tragedy, those kids parents and families grief will be overwhelming. So many lost lives. I believe Jennifer manipulated James, she belittled and cuckolded him, he'd lost his job and she had affairs and controlled him. He's a weak man certainly but I don't think he is as responsible for this tragedy as she is. The partners of narcissists are fearful.
this is really a case about whether people are liable about any tool being locked up
What time shall we expect to return?

When the jury rich a verdict, that’s when. For James’ wife, the jury took 11 hours to rich a verdict.
Exactly. There's no set time. Jury decides when they reached a verdict. Calm Down 😂
@@bz3548 over two days for Jennifer's Im sure alot thur instructions in all morning tmw....
it isn't about what tool it is. that is irrelevant.
Any verdict yet ?
Not yet
I think the prosecutor is a little bit flustered in rebuttal lol the defense had me thinking 🤔🤔🤔🤔 should the parents be charged with involuntary manslaughter??? Or child neglect!
When you see a drawing that your son just made where he is shooting people and the gun looks just like the gun you gave him it's reasonable to foresee that if he has access to a gun then he might be thinking of shooting people.
Add to this that he put the drawing on a math assignment to turn in. If he were drawing ideas for a video game then it would not be on a math assignment.
@@brbrknndy So everyone that draws for video games shoots up a school is your logic.
@@brbrknndy You don't know what they talked about or what was said, whatever he said was enough to even make the school professionals not believe he was a threat, not search him nor say he needed immediate help or intervention. That's adds to reasonable doubt the father could have foreseen this happening if even the professionals didn't.
@@brbrknndy And remember negligent manslaughter, as the judge pointed out, isn't just mere carelessness, its when something is so severely grossly negligent that any reasonable person would know the action is likely to cause a death, its a higher level than even civil negligence, we're talking things like leaving your child in a car on a hot day, not vague suspicions of mental health issues and failing to admit your kid in the extremely unlikely event he might kill someone.
Involuntary Manslaughter 💯..
So I wonder if the father of the defendant and the other relative not testifying had to do with the threats James made.
Why wasn't this jury sequestered?
He is. Guilty buying a. Gun for a disturbed teen whi clearly had issues torturing animals he had baby birds beheaded in a jar in his room he didnt tell the school he had bough him a gun also he ran and hid after the shooting
That isn't in evidence, what you are saying is called hearsay
It’s not hearsay …that was in the evidence & a fact … he bought his son the gun & ammo for Xmas ..one who was mentally disturbed…totally irresponsible & bad parenting .. crazy …
That is not against the law to buy a gun
The Judy in his son case said he wasn't medically sick that's how he got life in prison
Did they announce yet
Have they reached verdict yet
Being a less than perfect parent does not make this man guilty. There is no evidence that he knew what his child was going to do. Why didn't the school just look in his back pack? If they were truly worried they would have done that. But they didn't.
Why didn’t his parents? They were at the school that morning too?
They didn’t know the kid had just been purchased a gun exactly like the one he drew - his parents did know since they had bought it for their troubled child who heard voices and saw demons
did you watch the whole trial before commenting this? the state doesn't have to prove that he knew exactly what his son was going to do! It's about involuntary(!) manslaughter and gross negligence. he knew his son was having mental problems, didn't take it seriously, but instead bought a 15 y/o kid a GUN when he kept begging him for it and did not take it seriously when that math paper was shown to Jennifer and him. That is what it's all about. His job as a parent is to care for his son's well-being and he didn't. he left that kid in the dust, mental-health wise. -- just watch the closing arguments by the state, it's all explained there.
The school didn't know he had a gun and they didn't know that the gun in the picture looked just like the one Eathan was given a few days before. I kinda suspect James and Jennifer wanted to keep that a secret because they knew they weren't supposed to buy a gun for him. James, at the gun store, told the gun store owner that the gun was for him.
If he’s not why is his mom guilty then (the wife)
I think the mom is more guilty. I think James actually cared more but the mom controlled them both.
both guilty
I disagree both didn't care & both are equally Guilty of the cold blooded murder's their mentally disturbed son committed ..

There. Yes, I'm the guy.
The jury finished deliberating around 4:30 pm for the day and will be back tomorrow morning at 9:00 am to continue deliberating!
I think the dad loved his son and he never ever meant for any of this to happen. The jury will find him guilty no matter what!
Praying 🙏 for the family
Which family are you praying for ? The families of the dead children ?
They should have a verdict by now

GUILTY
He didn't secure the gun. Who care if it or not a oppsie. He was having an affair also. He was threatening key witness's from jail. Not guilty really. If anything just as or more
Both of them were having affairs? I missed that.
He is definitely guilty

This is awesome,in future there also needs to be some type of law or system where if people want to have children, produce or reproduce they must have a licence. Under this licence there needs to be alot of terms and conditions for them to meet and deemed acceptable for society to have, produce or reproduce.Theres a lot of people out there who shouldn't and don't deserve to be parents.
And some that can’t have kids and would make amazing parents I agree with you !!
That would make sense, at least to have required education. Unfortunately that would be difficult in todays laws because in some states parents that are not ready to have a child are forced to.
that GOP want us all barefoot and pregnant with guns
I hope the jury is not comprised of gun nuts.
@iser-yo7qs7ht8j. Just what constitutes a gun nut?
@@maryice6934 yea that is my question too
Lol. Mike check. Already done
Why was there a sidebar when the prosecutor began questioning James Crumbley’s sister?
My guess is that she either visited Ethan in jail or was at one or more of his hearings and didn't know how to answer whether she had seen him.
@@johngarry1238 Oh ok thanks for that. I couldn’t figure out why she kept looking at the judge then the side bar.
Yeah, the prosecutor meant to say when she last saw him prior to the shooting. The family probably visited the shooter while they were up here for the trial.
Shocking twist: not guilty
The father looks like a bozo. Of course they will convict him and should!!
This man is not guilty. If convicted i lost all faith in our judicial system
What makes you say he’s innocent?

Good question??
School gets what?? So to blame
they did all that they could!! the school is not the kids' parents. it's the parents' job to care for their kids, first and foremost.
The school did NOT know that Ethan had a gun...the parents never mentioned it
not guilty
I think it is so wrong to have the father in chains and handcuffed. His father never took his son to learn to shoot, but anycase what about the Parklands School shooting case? He shot 17 students and his parents knew he was mentally nuts and planning to do something but nothing happened to them
I think It’s because he is considered a flight risk.
Mother was dead. Father not in the picture.
The parkland shooter was an orphan at the time of the shooting. His adoptive parents died before the shooting, the last one dying 3 months before. But, as soon as they knew he was troubled he was setup with a psychiatrist and had an in-home aide to help him. He even spent time at an in-patient facility. Plus they had no unsecured guns at home before they died.
His biological mom also died before the shooting and bio dad was a deadbeat, no contact.
Can’t really compare to the crumbleys.
Thumbs down for click bait lie
Lol. We are on verdict watch. How is that a lie? We will be on verdict watch until a verdict is returned. Thumbs down for your lack of comprehension skills.
Why is the father guilty for his son‘s actions? Give me wrong I’m not excusing the father. The father should’ve been a better father clearly, but the son made the actions. The sun decided to do this ,a father shouldn’t be punished for his son’s actions and vice versa.
The mom was found guilty. I assume he will too.
Re watch the trial....it explains it perfectly. Guilty verdict coming.
Choices, consequences (for the entire family). The Son needed serious mental help, which he ask his parents for. Dad told him to "suck it up", then went out and purchased him a gun. Say what? A lot more to it . . . . but that pretty much sums it up.
He's not guilty for his sons actions. It's about what he did and didn't do as a parent. Parents who have given their kids keys to a vehicle while they were drunk and the kids killed someone have been held responsible. You don't give a depressed child a gun. Come on now!
Because as a parent you have a responsibility for and to your minor children. Neither was taken seriously by either parent and neither acted appropriately. When you are told of a problem by multiple sources and had every reason to act and still didn't.....that makes you legally liable. He's being prosecuted for his behavior, and the resulting damage, not what his son did.
Is their a verdict?
No verdict jury continues tomorrow
there
Not guilty
He’s totally guilty
