Debussy's first arabesque is one of his best-known and most frequently heard compositions. Rightly so - it is a beautiful, short, flowery and wonderfully ornamented piece. However, even though the piece may sound quite simple, it is quite challenging to make those very ornamentations and textures appear as simple therefore flowing as Debussy intended. I hope you enjoy this recording, I will also play Debussy's second Arabesque in the future. Maybe also something by Robert Schumann? Who knows - be curious what the future will bring and feel free to let me know what you want to hear. Until then all the best and stay healthy!

You know I've said many times that you are the best pianist I watch on UA-cam (I watch basically just piano and occasionally gaming videos) but you really are my favourite you play even the hardest arrangements better than most people (yes I know this isn't the right video for that but I mean in general) then every now and agean you make a video with your own arrangement like avengers endgame for example which is hands down the best avengers endgame cover on UA-cam then you post a classical song and it's perfectly played you can do everything

@@MagnusBaumgartl you absolutely should I've never actually played one Purley because I have stopped myself from buying music till I get through the ones I have but I have your avengers endgame and romantic flight on a list for definite and maybe your interstellar if I get round to it but they are seriously great
