- This is the planted tank that I currently use for guppy fish breeding and growth. I can also use it for other fishes that like planted tank for breeding. There is no co2 in this tank. There is no planted tank substrate either, plants are attached to rocks or roots. Some of the anubias coffeefolia plants’ leaves damaged as I wasn’t paying attention to this tank for a while now, but still most of them are healthy.

The plants I used in this tank all attached stone or wood that is why no soil, I always provide daily nutrition for plants. Also it is breeding tank I could use cosmetic sand but it easy to keep clean like this.

@@Tropictank thank you.. I just got me quite some different sorts of Anubias, all invitro and some different bucephalandra like aqua Arctica and my new tank to start planting them and you give me an excellent idea (although I so not like fish in any tank, unless a very special betta if at all)

Thanks for sharing. Your tank looks spectacular! Do you ever see algae growing in the tank? If so, how do you get rid of it. I have a planted tank with dirt and no co2 and plants are growing fine but I see too much algae as well. Any tips on how to eliminate it from the tank..
Late one but get a gang of small plecos like bristle nose and rubber nose. I have about 6 plecos in my 4 ft and the eat all the algae
