- This is the story of my planted aquarium which some of you may have already memorized. This is one of my favorite planted aquariums and I had this tank for more than 1.5 years. I have done this aquarium’s maintenance and trimming so many times however in the last 1.5 months life was so busy for me and I could not take care of this planted Dutch style aquarium. Now it is the time for trimming, to take off my old carpet plant and put some interesting plants instead.

you have some of the best looking tanks in my opinion! I just got some Pogostemon Helfiri in its emersed form about a month ago and now have nice bushy little crowns.. if I have high light will my crowns have a good chance of getting bushy like yours our did you propagate yours?

When you plant for the midground and background, specifically stem plants, do you plant each stem individually or plant them in bundles?
Small batches 5-8 of them together
Stunningly! All plants look so healthy and bright! How fast do they grow in such numbers? How many days was the aquarium without a trimming?

can i carpet a graveled tank ? i planted my plants has i dont like the pot look so takes abit to grip down but im wanting some tall plants to grip the back n give some shade while carpet st the front can anyone give me some suggestions

How were you able to make the Pogostemon helferi form like bushes? Can it be attached to rocks like the anubias or do you need it to be planted on a substrate? Thanks!

attached on lava rock And they covered all around the rock 😊
