What's your favorite way to enjoy mezcal? Do you prefer it on the rocks, mixed in a cocktail, or sipped neat?

Incredible to see how Mezcal has grown from a small, traditional craft to a global sensation! It’s inspiring that small family-owned brands like San Bartolo are thriving despite the challenges. Cheers to hard work and heritage!

There's a few things wrong here. First off Tequila is not only made in Jalisco, its also made in Michaocan, Guanajuato, Nayarit and Tamaulipas. Also that factoid about agave spirits surpassing domestic whiskey sales in the States is not true. What is true is that agave spirits are outpacing the growth of whiskey, but still doesn't compare to whiskey in terms of overall sales.

Great presentation and explanation of the concept some people assume about the BOOM of the new market to conquer. You are right, the demographic is changing. The ecosystem is taking worst of it, the extinction of local species on the flora and fauna, but we’re seeing the extinction of the wild agaves do to the high demand.
The deforestation, with the change of land used we’re also seeing the migration of wild species do to lost of their natural habitats.
Drought, drinking water source are contaminated with toxic chemicals fertilizer that are filtrated into our underground water system.
Oaxacans are still excluded from the market, we’re oaxacans are still doing the hard work and people from outside of Oaxaca are acquiring their own brands, something seems almost impossible for some producers because of cost and policies.
The local political hasn’t changed much, and seems their not even interesting to do so. We need politicians who are willing to transform and regulated the market share and guarantee safety for investment and extortion, but to do so the whole local government needs to be restructured since their policies are and themselves are the problem.
There are a lot more into this NEW GOLD MINE their trying to make the people believed, but not taking responsibility on all the side effects and collateral damage on third parties on their health, demographic change, cost of living on their own land.

Sounds like a mezcal, destilado con (distilled with) or infused. Usually more appealing to newer drinkers who don't sip agave spirits neat typically.
