Just a quick comment, at 9:39 Zephagamon does in fact need to suspend for Vortex, it's cendrillmon's Overclock that doesn't require the digimon to suspend.
I think the ESS from grandgale which states that… [Your Turn] [Once Per Turn] When this Digimon attacks your opponent's Digimon, this Digimon may unsuspend. I think the player just skip the whole suspend unsuspend act, as zephaga needs to 1. Attack impmon using 2. Redirect using ST18 Shoto Kazama to redirect into the security 3. Trigger all [when attacking] effect, in this case grandgale effect
@@paperbagboi5866 Yeah but in that case he could suspend and then unsuspend the zepha or just suspend one of the impmons and unsuspend it so then zephaga would get +3000dp and wont be affected by the effect of heavymetaldramon and he would still be able to use the vortex / shoto redirect
@@arturorodriguez-p4e well he doesnt need to unsuspend anything using zephaga's [when digivolving] to get immunity, since zephaga itself will unsuspend (using grandgale ESS) when attacking impmon before redirect to security using shoto... However he needs to leave at least something to unsuspend (in this case the suspended impmon) on the opponent's turn since zephaga [all turn](opt) when a digimon unsuspend, gets +3k DP and immunity from digimon eff for the turn. So the immunity from zephaga turn prior will not carry on, hence why the impmon is left suspended and why heavymetaldramon eff can't touch zephaga at this moment 12:05

No no @psyqualiaxd is right, zephaga does get immunity when the impmon unsuspend during the unsuspend phase. In which, zephaga [all turn] effect triggers… So yeah, zephaga shouldn’t be affected by any digimon effects

Really nice match up. These are both decks I'm really interested in. Though I'm more focusing on the Ptero side for now.
Heavymetaldramon looks like such a weird deck but in a very fun way. Looking forward to ex-7 in English.
