I had totally forgotten about the EX6 DanDevimon stuff! I really like this idea, though I'll have to test it out myself to see how it performs. HeavyMetaldramon definetly struggles a bit as a pure deck right now, so meshing it with DanDevimon's tools is a nice way to add some extra utility and boom to the deck. Also gives us another actually useful rookie in EX6 DemiDevimon. I can't believe I forgot about that card when I was trying to think up low cost cards with the Evil trait that might be playable off HeavyMetaldramon! Really cool idea!
I totally agree! It's a struggle trying to make it work since most Impmon's don't work with the new line and other dark dragon evo costs are pretty high and don't bring any good inherits. It still needs a little more support but overall it's a fun deck to play!
Like I mentioned above, the deck needs more support to be viable as a tribal deck. Either you commit to running everything that came out in the set or try to find other cards that can supplement it. You can always experiment with different builds.
This isnt a heavymetaldramon profile... it's just a split devimon heavymetaldramon deck.. its all about dandevi's affects. you dont even have yuuki max'd :facepalm:
The whole line is still there, I just chose not to use the new Orochimon and Nidhoggmon. I'm still running the main core of the deck. Just because you can run a card at 4 doesn't necessarily mean it's good. Other than the memory gain Yuuki gives, you can get away with running less and teching other cards like digimon emperor or the new vortex resonance option.

Just get the sim and type in "evil" and youlk be shown every card.
That way i found out, that you use growlmon or nothing... Evil just aint it.
