If the issue is when using the cable, try this: the wire that plugs into the headphones - turn it round the other way - plug that into the computer and the other end into the headphones.
If the issue is when using the cable, just try new cable :)

I have to agree with the headphones poor construction. This is my second pair of Solo Wireless (first had the 2 and now the 3) and both ended up with the same problem, despite how good care I take of my things. And funnily enough they both got the same problem a couple of months after the warranty coverage finished. 🤔 The worst part of this is that Apple's repairing policy for Beats is non existent. If the headphones are in the warranty period they'll substitute them for a new pair, if they're not they give you the option to buy a new pair at a discount price (which is pretty much the original cost price at least in Portugal so it's just sand thrown to your eyes in my opinion). Not only is this frustrating but it's incredibly irresponsible and unethical from a sustainability perspective. This is just creating more waste. Not to mention that we're not talking about some cheap headphones. Despite not being the premium range, a 200€ set of headphones shouldn't be disposable.
So yeah thank you for sharing this. Not sure I have the skills to venture on this myself but at least maybe I can get someone to fix them, since it's also not easy, at least in my country to find service for that.

That's my issue too....I don't see any broken wires. My right headphone went out.
My headphones work find when plugged in but I only get sound out of the left side when connected via Bluetooth. Is there a way to fix this?

@@TechscrewDIY : Thank you for the link. Unfortunately with my poor eyesight I don't think I'd be very successful replacing the audio port. I replaced the beats with a Sony XM4.
can any wire work or do you need specific wire
any small wire form old headphones work.
I have use a normal thin silver wire and now on Bluetooth it is making sound
I thought there was going to be a simpler process but I guess not. Well when I get off work I'll have to stand on the corner with a white cup and collect change until I have enough to buy some new ones.
My shorted out but I think its near the headband area or where it folds. Is there anyway of fixing this?
sad, you can try find new wire, teardown headphones and change wire.
