- You never know who will show up on a rainy day at Tony Hawks private vert ramp to skate with Bucky. Today’s Vert Session did not disappoint with Switzerland’s finest ATV Chany Jeanguenin making a vert appearance along with locals Steve Caballero, Mike McGill, Christian Hosoi, Alphonzo Rawls, Reese Nelson, Jimmy Wilkins, Tate Carew, Rob Lorifice, Alex Perelson and Shea Donovan.

With my 48th birthday coming quick, a nagging sense of getting to old to keep skating creeps in. But watching these guys puts that to rest. Especially Cab, he’s been my favorite since he set the record at Raging Waters.

I hear you. I backed off in my late 20’s for thinking I was getting too old, which at our age now is laughable. I realize that I cheated myself out of years of good skating. Don’t want to make the same mistake again.
Can't risk it anymore I'm not Bucky or cab if I get hurt I can't work so now I'm just sidewalk surfing 😞
@@gigapus5050 I'm with you, right shoulder, bruised rib, left meniscus, right patella, left achilles, all hurt, need ice, massage everyday. But I'm not giving up. A good fall doesn't hurt. It's the stupid ones. Worst injuries for me are flat ground. Ramp not bad. Pad up, get low, absorb the impact, lose weight, stretch. It's a competitive sport and we have to treat it like that. Look at all the effort put into moving a leather mini-blimp down a field. Surfskating is great exercise and good for stretching and strengthening. Best of success in skateboarding to you and yours.
These kids today just send everything XXXXL..absolutely mental..at one point felt like I was watching Pro Skater on steroids 😅 this footage is priceless..thanks for your continued hard work with the sick content
It is awesome that you guys are keeping skateboarding alive. Probably the best days of my life back in the mid and late nineties skateboarding. Good vibes and good people how awesome is that. How inspiring keeping the youth with good role models. You guys are awesome

Just sitting here watching trying to decided if I'm going to call in to work because my back is hurting. then seeing two bad ass skaters drop in with sore backs. so yeah I'm going in tonight. Watching legends is always a treat, but having the younger generation there makes it even better.

I am 47, facing a ligament surgery in my wrist, a bummer, but it has to be done. that being said, I still love skateboarding, and I am swaying in my desk chair as I watch the transition skating! I used to skate a lot of vert. it's cool to see all the skaters I knew when I was 12, and watching the Vision tour! lol. thanks for reading, and much love

I was always a cab fan as a kid but I can’t get enough of seeing McGill these days.
A few observations:
- good see some guys bringing the power back to vert. Lorifice is a BEAST. Every trick it seems like he's making the ramp shake.
- Wilkins makes every trick seem so easy. One of the most fluid guys in the game right now.
- Nobody has the boneless game on lock like Bucky. Jeff Phillips is looking down and approving bro. Those front-side boneless are legendary.
- Every time I see Christian now, it just makes me smile. What a legend and still going strong. Doesn't have to ride or ripe any more, just his presence for me is so inspiring. His laugh and smile just brighten my day.
absolutely surreal to see all the legends rip together after all these years. keep up the hype

yea man this was insane - truly loved sharing the moment with you and love the span of generations. If possible add the names of the skaters when they skate - as it's hard to keep track watching, cause the shred was so high. Congratulations and YES KEEP SHARING these sessions!

Man it brings me so much joy seeing you still go that hard! I remember watching live in awe as you hit your helmet with your deck while tweaking an invert harder than anyone ever. That was last millenium, Münster Monster Mastership 1999! You still got that unmistakable Lasek style doing those boneless variations. Keep doing you, please!

I once delivered lost luggage to Bucky at his house (it was my job 15 yrs ago). I saw the last name Lasek with a different first name than Bucky. I was pronouncing the last name LAYsek in my head so I didn’t put 2 and 2 together. I knocked on the door and Bucky showed up!!! I was star struck 🤩! I was stopped in my tracks and didn’t know how to act. He was super cool and gave me a good sized tip. I ran back to my truck, where my girlfriend was waiting, and shared what had just happened. I don’t give a crap about celebrities but it was really cool to see a skater of that caliber, being new to SD from Denver.

I just ordered a Bucky Lasek Flight deck, and some titanium hollows. Inspired. Gettin light. I appreciate the 15" wheel base aspect. Little weirded out by the same size nose and tail. I'm a little intimidated by having a Bucky Lasek board. I hope I can live up to the hype.
