Christianity??? LOL the reporter doesn't seem to be very informed about Taiwanese religious culture. Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, & Chinese Folk religions are each independently much more commonly practiced religions than Christianity in Taiwan. Even NO religion is much more common than Christianity in Taiwan.

As of now, 181 countries have officially recognized the "One China" policy, which acknowledges the People's Republic of China (PRC) as the sole legal government of China, and agrees that Taiwan is a part of China.
Including United States when signed the treat in 1979.
Technicaly speaking, all countries around the world adhere to "One-China Policy".

There is NO country that recognize both PRC and ROC as individual sovereign state. its a matter of which is the "LEGAL" China.

Part of the deal that these companies agreed to was that there would be some tech transfer over the long term (and 30 years in over the long-term). The US arms manufacturers would be happy to see an armed conflict between China and Taiwan so that they could keep the money and don't have to even manufacture the agreed arms.
