From what I've learned! Spotify's algorithm counts your streams --> saves ratio and have estimated an average ratio that can indicate fake streams or playlists with bots. If your ratio is extremely off, it's likely an indicator that you are getting fake streams from bots. Also regarding the terms and conditions of Spotify, paying upfront for guaranteed placement is definitely illegal and can get your profile as well as the playlist curator banned. But paying for playlist pluggers, which essentially sends your song to various legitimate playlists for you is allowed. Although this still doesn't guarantee placement. That is the difference, paying for guaranteed placement is illegal. Watch out for your streams to saves ratio, and playlist submit services are still allowed. Yet don't guarantee placement. Hope this helps! ^_^
as you said, specific individuals’ playlists are amazing. My girl is a UA-camr and she put my song “Funeral” on a sad boy playlist and it’s at 500k+ on Spotify 🙏🏻

I’ve been playlisting since day one. I think it’s important to gain you some core followers and spread your music around to new people that otherwise wouldn’t hear you, so I always do it to some extent. However, I think if anyone is doing this in an attempt or a hope that they’re gonna blow up from it, I’d say it’s highly unlikely. Your best case scenario is probably closer to what happened to me on my last run of promo, which was that the song landed enough streams and saves to hit Spotify’s Discover Weekly. Another thing to look out for for fake playlists I always tell people: if the song is getting STREAMS ONLY, and you’re not getting SAVES or FOLLOWS, it’s prolly bots. Ima keep play-listing because at the end of the day, it does do more good than harm to your career, but it is sometimes an expense that is questionable in terms of business. Great work. I've tired some similar style of promotion for my novel with some big Instagram book sites and got nothing back in terms of people buying books. It goes to show that the bigger don't have the same reach/engagement compared to smaller ones.
The strategy of emailing the playlists is very good, but never start with offering payment. I got my song to 32k streams first week and didn't pay a single curator. If they like your song and see the potential they will add it to their playlist. If they want to get paid for it they'll tell you, but you're already starting from a $0 standpoint and they won't be dealing with someone who mentioned paying in the first place so negotiation will be much easier. Lastly, write about yourself on Genius, have friends post about you on social media (it will appear on Google search results) and promote yourself on Spotify Community, PEOPLE ACTUALLY CHECK YOUR STUFF OUT ON THERE. I grew from 120 monthly listeners to almost 400 in 2 days only posting my links on Spotify Community and asking people to add me to their playlists. CHEAP SEO & PROMO.
I'd probably do that as an experiment on how most people should be doing a/b testing and then invest in 3-5 playlists that gave the best results. good feed.
Well...not really paying spotify itself.....paying to be heard by those whose playlist or songs the combine and post that:::::with people liking their playlist....So you have your song in there and you certan to get heard rather just waiting that people will randomly find a song you just put on spotify to be played.....and played big time....pay....yes....but their better ways to blow up all not just get played on spotify.....And money may really not be required....
It's kinda like paying UA-cam influencers to feature ur track on UA-cam.. UA-cam will pay u for the views gained afterwards but it wasn't UA-cam u paid.. 🔑
I appreciated the detailed step by step examples on how to submit to playlists and the result. As a new artist this helped shed some light on my own release strategy
You should try $1,000 on instagram story promo, that usually works for my remixes so imagine an original. &you get more detailed information on who listened.
Great vid bro like always 🔥💯A few weeks ago I spent around 50$ on Instagram meme accounts for my UA-cam channel promotion. Their accounts have around 150k followers, and I only gained around 10-15 subs. It was a rip off. And they probably just bought their followers or something😕
This video was literally the best content i've seen on youtube over a long while now. Never have I been that much hyped to see what the result is going to be since i've been trying to get my music out to the world in every way possible, but it's kinda a hard one. The music industry (especially rap) is really over saturated with so many artists out there. At least I know I got the vibe on point! NEED MORE VIDEOS LIKE THAT ONE!
Great video. I'd say the money is worth it, but the big variable is being able to to recreate Patrick's work. How many people are going to be able to analyze playlists and make good decisions on which ones to drop money for and which ones to skip? That's a lot of work. I'd be curious, in addition to the $1000 going to the playlists, how much would Patrick value his work? If you were going to do this service for artists how much would you charge?
I wouldn’t do this service for artists. Because if a true artist is taking their career seriously they wouldn’t need to pay someone to do it. They would put in the leg work
I did a worldstar promo and paid a lot for it, and I got great exposure day 1 for that first couple of hours. My streams went up for that month. But after that it was basically back to a bit higher than what I had before.
I work for a german record label and I am responsible for the ad campaigns and what I can say is, that it is completely normal to pay ammount X and „loose“ money on it if you look at it as a one song only campaign. But if you do it several times, your audience grows and starts listening to ur katalog which results in a positive cashout on the songs that you payed more on then u got out in like the first months.
Interesting video, I am trying to market my stuff and not hiring a company. Had some hits and misses so far but your video helped. I release pina colada tomorrow that is a hybrid summer house/hiphop/funk track and hope it goes well lol. Keep up the good work!
This was fascinating! Thank you for sharing the knowledge! I appreciate how detailed and thorough your analysis was here, you're saving people a lot of time and money with these kinds of insights!
I definitely would do this. I make music on my own and learned to mix & master basically alone. I’m still learning but I just dropped an EP on all platforms including this UA-cam channel. I need to learn how to market correctly. Awesome video, you’re the man for this!

Orion is better!
Nice video Patrick But maybe you have to also try Orion Promotion .com , i tried both but they had given me the best and organic exposurece
@@simonaknian9112 sound fair

Lmao pasto my friend bro we been talkin for almost 2 weeks now Ong he needs to grow
PatrickCC needs to collab with PunkRockMBA.
Talk about similarities and differences in the business of rap vs rock.
ima guess... its jelani
damn i was wrong
Can’t be that predictable!
I was too sure it would be him, that I almost wrote that he's tryin 2 hard to blow him up, b4 I even watched the video
your video quality just keeps increasing. it's dope
Great content fr‼️🤘🏼
You forgot the key thing when looking for a playlist: lower number of songs, BUT has higher number of followers.
You should try $1,000 on instagram story promo, that usually works for my remixes so imagine an original. &you get more detailed information on who listened.
In case anyone is wondering on December 20th this song currently has 487,936 streams.
F in chat. But At least you learned
Patrick Cc: yup🔥💯😅
Saw this tonight check his spotify. Boy really did blow up, good for him man. And dope vid concept
Yo patrick, listen to Don Louie he's super underrated out of Philly and deserves to go mainstream
I see you helping run a label one day lol
I work for a german record label and I am responsible for the ad campaigns and what I can say is, that it is completely normal to pay ammount X and „loose“ money on it if you look at it as a one song only campaign.
But if you do it several times, your audience grows and starts listening to ur katalog which results in a positive cashout on the songs that you payed more on then u got out in like the first months.
Hi LBS! May I contact you? If so, how? I have some questions regarding what you posted here. :D Thank you!
Love u daddy. Sippen water while I watch ♥️♥️
Cole R be careful
bro???
Sus but appreciate the support nonetheless
Interesting video, I am trying to market my stuff and not hiring a company. Had some hits and misses so far but your video helped. I release pina colada tomorrow that is a hybrid summer house/hiphop/funk track and hope it goes well lol. Keep up the good work!
That's a fact..ua-cam.com/video/Sbxg6q2a1K8/v-deo.html
“too sad” smh all i make is sad music 😔
Add it to sad playlists. They got more streams than these
Great tips Patrick. It's time to grow! This year gonna be an amazing year for my music! Thank you!
Lmao, it's not allowed to sell placements so I wonder how many of those lists are gonna get the big old ban.
The song you promoted now has nearly 2.4M listens on Spotify and another 93k on Soundcloud!
The person that remained anonymous was him💯😂😂😭
Great result! Creating a career isn't like selling goods, not all success is quantifiable.
I thought that the title said: Paying $1000 dollars for spotify premium
Lmaoooo
that better be some extra premium spotify
This was fascinating! Thank you for sharing the knowledge! I appreciate how detailed and thorough your analysis was here, you're saving people a lot of time and money with these kinds of insights!
candy-addicted on spotify
"I don't make music myself" yeah ok Lil Runaway 🙄🙄
I definitely would do this. I make music on my own and learned to mix & master basically alone. I’m still learning but I just dropped an EP on all platforms including this UA-cam channel. I need to learn how to market correctly. Awesome video, you’re the man for this!
I’m gonna guess it jelani imani before I watch the rest of the vid
not a bad guess hes underatted as f. Found him through Pats playlists too hes FIYAA and very unique, fresh sound
I like the GTA IV menu sound effect as your cut/transition sound.
Just spend 5 to 10 USD a day on ads instead.
Do this work though and on what platform
A year later his top song has 6 million plays. Definitely jump started his career
use fiverr for spotify promo n test the results

It does make sense
Lets go. I like videos like these. Hella dope. Investing in yourself is important.
" I only promote good music " then goes and plays trash music
worth it, even if the cash didn't come back 100 % the audience reach and fan growth is always worth 🙏🏽
