Thanks for doing the live/video. We have been concerned about you. When a vlogger disappears that feels like a friend it feels like such a loss. Happy you are getting some refreshment and feeling healthy again and that your sweet pup is bringing you joy.

Agree. Well said. It is distressing when a “friend” you’re used to connecting with just disappears. Glad to know everything is ok.
I was raised in Madras, OR. Bend and Prineville would be a really good place they have Four Seasons and the cost of living is much lower there than in many places. I actually have several family members that still live in Central Oregon. The nice sing about living in Central Oregon is you're not too far from the mountains and it isn't actually too far to go to the coast and also it's wonderful to take a drive over into the Idaho area. I live in New Mexico now and do love New New Mexico. The cost of living here is very reasonable housing is cheaper than most places in America. I also lived in Phoenix for 23 years but I would not want to move back to Arizona unless it was in the Flagstaff or Prescott area. Albuquerque area is so very much like Central Oregon and I think that's why I love living in Albuquerque so much. I was surprised to find you on UA-cam this morning and this video is 7 months ago. I used to follow you all the time and have missed seeing you I am so glad that your new dog is working out. My service dog and I get along so well and I don't know what I would do without him. I would suggest that you think long and hard about moving to Europe can I have some good friends that are moving back to the USA from France because Francis changed so much in the last few years. However I have four friends that live in Portugal and all of them like it the language is very different you'd have to learn but one bought a homestead and they have done so much with it this last year. I wish you the best in finding what you finally would like to do when you settle down. It would be nice to see you off and on I have truly missed your UA-cam sessions.

My friends and I call those seasons of life “cocooning”. Sometimes we need to be in our cocoons to nurture ourselves, and there is nothing wrong with that. I am so glad you are taking care of yourself! It sounds like your new job is a good fit for you.
I came and watched your live after you finished it. I am happy to watch whatever content you chose to give us. I am just happy to see your face (and Georgie!!)!

I’ve been hoping you’d come back to UA-cam as I’ve followed you for many years. Even if not traveling, your wit, personality is fun. Several former FT RV’ers have bought property & many of we still follow them because we like their personalities. Some are weekend warriors some show building properties or projects. Just be YOU! That was enough to bring in your followers! ❤

You look good Amber and your kitchen looks awesome with all your fancy gadgets. Burnout happens to all of us. Your travels and UA-cam videos were great to watch...you did a lot. I enjoyed your fun travels. Keep doing what you do and take timeouts when you need to. You're an awesome you.....you're young, smart and beautiful....the world is wide open for you. You can live anywhere you like....so many choices. Keep your audience posted on your upcoming adventures....we all love you and enjoy your stories....❤

So good to see you Amber! Been worrying about you and good that you decided to take a break! ❤ The thing I love about the high desert around Reno/Tahoe is the lack of bugs and humidity. I love having 4 seasons (where the snow melts off the road by noon) and being so close to the ocean and mountains and within a few hours drive of many national parks. There’s no state income tax here either! I love that I can be a weekend traveler and have so many options!
Kinda reminds me of Flagstaff, Arizona too, although it be kind of expensive there.
I’ve missed you! Please check in more often. I miss you not necessarily traveling videos. Just be you and I will watch.

Welcome back you look relaxed and fresh. Glad you took the time off. If I could move from Texas, Asheville would be on the top of my list. Little cooler, minimal major weather issues, good vibe and scenery. Tom and Lana are moving back to TX in the same place they left from.

I would love stories or reels! Perhaps you can video some of your playing with the dog while at the park or something. Or just any other fun things that happen as you go about your day. Those of us who started watching you as a traveler, became invested in your life. I understand that part of why you have been on Hiatus is partially because UA-cam became very stressful when you didn't have the same content. Certainly Georgie could bring you a lot of fun content, especially in the short form that is available with a lot less production. Happy to see you today. Even though I didn't get to see it live.

Good to hear you miss your van days, because I got my van, downsized, moved and need to finish the van more. But having a lot of doubts and fears at this point. Georgie is a sweetheart.

Oh what a treat! I pulled up UA-cam and saw your face, after all this time. You look great and so does Georgie. I’m glad you’re taking the time to take care of yourself. Personally, I’m not really into IG, but I will definitely watch for your shorts on YT. I’ve been traveling in my minivan since last October, with my two cats. The interesting thing is my late husband and I fulltimed it for 10 years before settling down in 2013. He passed in 2020, and here I am, on the road again. Looking forward to seeing more of you when you’re ready.Hugz!
