Good question. I take no pleasure in killing anything, but I do recognize that virtually every living thing depends on the death (or prevention of life) of another living thing. I use the club because I believe it's the quickest and most painless method of killing the fish. Our Alaska grizzly bears often simply strip the skin from a salmon and leave it to suffer an agonizing death. It's rather difficult to watch!
Thanks for the comment! The season lasts about 2 weeks and the limit is 25 for the permit holder and 10 for every additional family member. So if you have a family of four or five, that's an awful lot of fish! :D
It is possible in places where there is a lot of fish but I never give the love of the hunting to the hunter.I have dried dried grasshopper and I am enjoying the delicious fish and it is wonderful I am a farmer and I sell grasshoppers very cheaply

ALGERIE, using the club is simply the easiest and quickest way to kill the fish.

I love living in Alaska I went dipnetting last week and we caught a few I love the experience and it's awesome I was born and raised here in Kenai
