Thank you so much for this Sir. It is perfect in every way, applies to much more than Unity and explained to me so much more than any other tutorial about node-based shader graphs could. Still need to get my head around few concepts here, but for sure it is instantly useful.
Why did I just now discovered Pablo, the nerfhammer master wielder from DE, has a game dev focused UA-cam channel? Dude, I instantly subbed. Damn algorithm, finally became useful
Lots of great building blocks and tips! Can create more complex patterns and shapes from these which are also applicable to other node based systems like Blender. Thanks!
I really like this video , it's really easy to comprehend the basics of shadergraph , thank you !! I was wondering if you could come up more elaborate abstract visual with shader graph like psychedelic texture
That could be pretty cool, many variations of it, but I’ll give it some thought maybe a breath of the wild style climbing is more realistic to fit into a video
Hello Pablo, I don't know if you'll see that but if you do, I was trying to reproduce the radial mask as shown at 12:20, but I notice something that I don't understand: You remap the values from X: -1 Y: 1 to X:0 Y:1 but the fill variable actually works only on the X:0.25 Y:0.75 interval (it's the same on your video btw) when I'd like it to work on the full 0 -> 1 interval and I don't really know how to change that. What I think I see is that on the remap node preview, the gradient doesn't seem to go to full black or white, as if the range was somehow not full. But I don't get where it's from. I'm on Unity 2022.1, if that helps. Thanks in advance ! ~~EDIT: I found it ! The issue is that your Remap node input interval shouldn't be X: -1 Y: 1 but X: -0.5 Y: 0.5 - the polar coordinate node offsets the interval but doesn't change its size
You probably don't need this information already, but for anyone else: Remap node should contain "-0.5" and "0.5" in the "In Min Max" slot, instead of "-1" and "1" as in the video
Very nice and teaching tutorial, tho i have a question. Im trying to combine the frac effect part with the polar coordinates part of the video, but so far no success, there is a way to get such effect?
Do you have a video on triangles? I'm trying to make a targeting decal for a turret that shows it's firing range. I need to draw a triangle that can have any arbitrary angle.
There’s a pretty good tutorial on that, been a long time since I watched it, but I think it covers most of the important stuff. Hope this helps ua-cam.com/video/kmPj2GmoMWo/v-deo.html
One of the best channels on the good ol' tube
Awww thanks!
So true.

Just the best shaderGraph tutorial i've seen ! Thank you for the knowledge :)
Love this dude his cats and his tutorials, everything is wholesome.
The perfect profile of perfomatic pixelated procedural polygons! 😊
Haha the performatic dream lives on
really appreciate you Pablo. This really helped me understand the more nuanced and complex things shader graph is capable of.
Rarely I find such great content with little to no self thingy. Great job mate!!!!
This is the best shader graph tutorial I’ve ever seen (I’ve seen a lot) thank you for making this!
Great tutorial, thanks. The only thing I would add here for better understanding - is offset usage to move the generated textures
I loved your tutorials! Unfortunately most of ppl don't even know about your channel. Please continue to teach :) Best regards!
Thanks! Glad you like them! I got a promotion around a year ago and my free time plummeted but maybe at some point I can make more
Best shader graph tutorial I've seen. Love it.

Pablo your are an awesome teacher, thank you so much for your channel!
Thank you! I have recently discovered your channel, I hope you will keep making tutorials like this
That's very impressive.
That's an awesome introduction, thank you very much!
Crazy stuff. Thank you!
Great tutorial! Thanks :)
Great Videos! You deserve so much more attention my oh my.
Thanks! Glad you liked them!
nossa muitas possibilidades com isso , acredito que só + um video de manipulação de uv e propriedades do shader com script ficaria incrível
Super helpful for procedural flowers.
Amazing tutorial! I always come back to your videos! When is the next video? Extraño al profe pablo...
Neat videom thank you so much. Very interesting effects and really well explained. Keep up the good work.
Amazing tutorial. Thank you so much!!
Great tutorial! Thanks very much

I found how to do it with some research :)
What a great tutorial! Could you teach about Climbing System? like Shadow Of The Colossus?
That could be pretty cool, many variations of it, but I’ll give it some thought maybe a breath of the wild style climbing is more realistic to fit into a video
You are Amazing men 🥳
aw man, awesome video!

Great tutorial thank you! I wonder, how can I smooth the other edge in the circle at 13:46
Nice!
非常好,谢谢大佬
great channel dude 👍
Awesome video!
Thanks!
I would also like to know how to convert from polar to Cartesian coordinates!
cool!
Great video! Could you explain why you used "pi" for the max value at the beginning?
Enquiring minds want to know.
Any news?@@Dialethian
good videos, nice job and ty!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is there a way to use polar coordinates, add a bunch of nodes, and revert it to standard UV coordinates before final output?
Hey guys, I really don't understand how the multiply node is acting. Anyone care to explain?
Very nice and teaching tutorial, tho i have a question. Im trying to combine the frac effect part with the polar coordinates part of the video, but so far no success, there is a way to get such effect?
Thanks
Have you looked at the procedural patterns sample sub graphs available through the package manager?
Sorry if you’ve mentioned this later in the video
Yeah, I remember using a truchet (sp?) node from that a while back. Don’t go into anything that complex here, mostly trying to teach principles
😍😍😍😍😍
Nice job

What's the music playing in the background?
subbed!
Good video , but background sound is little to loud and make it hard to listen
Can you make a subsurface scattering human skin tutorial by using ShaderGraph?
im gonna add physics to this and make a procedual math game for zero players
You are op sir 😀
Cats taught me all I know!
How can cats taught you ???
take back
Next tutorial when?
Life and work have been rough lately, so not sure when 😅
Is there anyone you can do a terrain shader?
There’s a pretty good tutorial on that, been a long time since I watched it, but I think it covers most of the important stuff. Hope this helps ua-cam.com/video/kmPj2GmoMWo/v-deo.html
Did you quit youtube?
