omg finally someone who just doesnt add nodes here and there and connects them but rather explains why they are doing so. Thank you so much for the elaborate explanation, helps in understanding and also this knowledge can be applied to different stuff.
I WISH THIS WOULD WORK IN HDRP! veery cool, but my whole editor window keeps flickering as if there's NaN - a few hours of google searches and the only conclusion is that this is not possible with the HDRP scene color... :(
Even if I set Opaque Texture on on Main Camera the material will not become transparent and stays a solid color. What am I supposed to do about it? Edit: In the project settings under Graphics, I had to turn on Depth and Opaque Texture.
Love the simple breakdowns of each node. The visuals with the explanation really help show what and why you're doing certain things.

For anyone following, make sure to have opaque texture set to on in main camera for this to work 1:20
holy crap, I was lost for hours trying to get that effect, thank you so much haahahah
@@sopinha-games thanks very much bro
Can you do a follow-up where you go over the other parts of the shader? (the ripples and edge detection)
It looks amazing!
I would love to see how we can get the water foam in the edges. the video was so nice thanks for the tutorial!
I'm really keen to learn how the shoreline waves are made.
Sorry can i ask some question about 1:43. Did you click on convert to property? Because i clicked convert to property have a issue. Thank you
Great video with a very nice explanation (and a lovely voice 😊), thank you!
how did you do the foam? :'( it looks so good!
The water just appears red for me, no matter what I do or set the colors to..
I think you have to set the opaque texture to on, in the main camera
You must chage the "opaque texture" in the Universal Render Pipeline Asset, not in the camera, I guess.
you going so fast bro
Super awesome video! Thank you so much for explaining it in depth:D
What should I change for making it work in Orthographic Projection??

awesome video . We don't have much video that can explain by compare logic with thing in realife
This is very useful. Thank you for sharing!
I was trying to find out how to do the foam effect :(

Man thanks a lot, this is the first time I found the answer. I've been thinking about what I did wrong on this shader since yesterday too!
thank you so much for video
Mobile ready?
oh lmao, hi
Very low video bitrate and poor quality, little is visible at all even on fullhd
