  • Task Force History presents "46th Infantry Regiment in Germany 1960's". These unpublished historical photographs were taken by an unknown soldier of the 46th Infantry Regiment in Germany during the 1960's, many of them at Hohenfels Training Area. Some of the themes in this video include German villages, convoy, road march, Hohenfels Training Area, Camp Poellnricht, field training, M60 tank, M113, 46th and 24th Infantry Division, barracks and soldiers.

    I was in the US Army in the mid sixties, and stationed at Nurenberg, and was a dental lab tech, No field manuvers , guard duty, or KP, just my desk, bunson burner, cup of coffee, cigarette, and listening to the AFN radio....it was like a crft class , on a European vacation...
