It's the Sex Pistols like you've never seen them before - the legendary punk band's
first-ever authorized live DVD, THERE'LL ALWAYS BE ANENGLAND , presents their historic
2007 reunion concerts at London's 4,920-capacity venue Brixton Academy.
The five frenzied shows (November 8, 9, 10, 12, 14) marked the 30th anniversary
of the group's only studio album, the notorious Never Mind The Bollocks,
Here's The Sex Pistols, which Rolling Stone has called "the Sermon on the Mount
of English punk."
The most important band in the history of rock music. Period
2024 and still listening! So underrated and my favorite! YOU ROCK!!!!
One of their BEST tracks! SO under rated! The flip side of the "God Save Queen" single.
Always felt this was their most sophisticated song. I had that single. Navy blue label with a white or silver text. And TWO guitar breaks.
Killer riff in it too.
I'm proud of them. Somehow I missed this song though.
@Jim Johanson Had it, bought it on the quiet in England as the 45 was banned in England, still have it :)
@@paulshea5228 Only banned by the Beeb - Capital played it, I recall (and it reached number 1 in their chart - it was widely thought the Beeb's chart was fiddled to keep them off the no. 1 slot in Jubilee week). I still have my copy too!
Chills as i see many of them are old people. Punk's not dead, is just hungover from the last night.
Lots of teenagers there too, good to see,I guess they`re not all total divs nowadays lolol
Absolutelly brilliant!
J'ai passé le nouvel an 77/78 à Londres au Rainbow Theater et c'était magique..et le lendemain au Dingwalls et aussi au Métal music Machine I was 17 yrs
old ....🎉
I always loved this song
Steves guitar tone..
Bang fucking on!!
We can all thank Wally Nightingale for co-writing this song.
Wally wrote the music.
Birth name Warwick Alan Nightingale
Born 3 January 1956
Origin London, England
Died 6 May 1996 (aged 40)
Instrument(s) Guitar
Years active 1972-1975, 1981, 1995
He got a songwriting royalty cheque for £50,000 the day after he died for this song..
Nice to see a bunch of aging punks in the UK. Love that guitar tone opening riff!
Sounds pretty damned good! Johnny was the most distinctive voice produced by that generation and I was there
in they old days, they changed a lot of young peoples attitudes, like ME ;)
Thank you for your service 😏🍻🫡
Man -- they should have never kicked Glen out.
Matlock was the major architect of their songs.
@@alanstrom2221 Nah,his career after the Pistols has been a total non-event.
.great song and venue..Keep It Real
That would’ve been a fucking amazing show to see
Johnny looks like he's having a great time,: good vibes 😊
Kickass!
The ultimate keep me up 🙂
Rotten - I love you !!! Legend ✌🏼
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤙🏼

And he's playing at being a stepson. 🤞 Ala Steptoe and son
still touring without glen ond johnny obviously
Why the F is John doing PIL to this killer Pistols track...trashed it. No Rotten here kids.
Too true.
Agreed. He was Rotten on Pretty Vacant though.
I do hope that girl in the front row hasn't got a 'Flakey Scalp'! dx
1:25 Well, no one actually, John lol
I wanna know if John Lydon likes Ian Dury. He seems to be somewhat an influence. Mr Lydon please respond.
Yes,Dury was an influence,he is well-known to have gone to all the Kilburn & The High Roads gigs.
@@mjh5437 Cool
I am a huge Pistols fan but I'm not into PIL: he sings too high these days and they have become ultra commercial
@@zaradragonia9863 I love the Pistols too of course, but wouldn`t say PiL are commercial at all,I don`t think they sell very many records, you`re probably thinking of that silly little song John wrote for the Eurovision Gay Contest lol.
his voice sounded raspier back then
It sounded much more raw and had venom back in the day.. Now he just sounds embarrassing.

Спохватились да поздно!!!! На хрена нужно было выгонять Метлока?
Сочинили бы не один альбом, а так одни слёзы
2:00 santa ??
Ded moroz
Lydon singing too high and spoiling the song
I thought the same. It's like he forgot how it goes. The music is great but he ruins the song.
Too much pil John voice.
@@patricklonergan3 He can`t sing that way anymore, all our voices change as we age.
Looks like jhonny swallowed a footballl
You made your bed so lay in it ftw
Jones dumbs the guitar down on this track live in the reunion shows. Much prefer the lick he plays during the verses on the recording and it’s also audible on some of the ropey live recordings from 76/77.
ua-cam.com/video/808-N0Fglwc/v-deo.html
Agreed. He definitely does. He's either forgotten it or is just being lazy.
That butter salesman murders his own song. This is terrible. Lydon is just embarrassing. Some things sound better as memories.
What have you ever achieved compared to him? Nothing.
Fucking great, despite the frontman's fascist politics
Cry harder Jamey-Wamey
Grandi Sex Pistols❤
