I'm interested to test the new strength badges but as a safety net in case they arent as good as we hoop, I put post control very high combined with high strength. That will allow me to utilize the strength to throw defenders in the post!

He has 88 ball handle instead of 85. He didn’t go to the post at all either so I feel like he took that off the build as well. I don’t know why he lied about the build though

2k caves to all the bitching every year so most likely. I just hope they buff blocks and nerf steals because I'm tired of getting poked on a mismatch inside on a guard. Shit was lame as hell.
I kept this build as is, except I got rid of the post control. That allowed me to put perimeter defense up to 75 (bronze clamps) and 60 steal (bronze interceptor). With the 96 strength, that will be more than enough defensively. I also was able to get 70 defensive rebound on the build.
Made mine similar but had it to where it had 90 perimeter defense and 93 mid range for the gold/ hall of fame badges. It also has 86 driving dunk instead of the 93 because silver posterizer and precision dunker is enough for me since that's not my priority but I can still have the ability to do so. Main thing I sacrificed was the pass accuracy. Attempted to finesse it to about a 63. I have 2 variants of my go to sf 6'8 build: this one above is my get buckets build where my other one is all physical with 86 strength, 93 dunk, 84 three, and high 80 rebounds, block, interior/ perimeter defense with also max handle if need to put the ball on the floor. That one is mainly a "role player" type where if we need size and versatility, I got you. If we need a walking bucket while someone else has me on defense, I got you there as well. That's the best way I can feel like I can do everything on the floor depending on team need and satisfy that style for me since the builder is so strict.
Bro the build looks solid most definitely but me being the hooper I am loves defense. So imma have to tweak it for me cause Perimeter, Blocks and steals gotta be up. Need my chase downs on point. But solid build for you bro 💯💯💯

If it’s too high, do not buy. If enough agree with you, they won’t buy either. If no one buys, 2k will drop the price. I’ll be honest though, you’re probably not going to get anyone behind you. This community loves this game so much that they’ll let 2k do anything.

@@christianhull4943 U have a 96 strength with gives u HOF physical Handles with that u don’t need gold unpluckable. Physical handles Lessens the chance of being bothered by defenders on the perimeter while dribbling and u have that on HOF w/96 strength

I like it I want same build but put the middy down to 72 to get silver middy magician in return putting driving dunk to 94 and getting slithery HOF, and I put free throw at 80 to get silver like you but I used my last point to increase speed to 76 . So same just got a extra badge and a lil less middy rating but I still get those badges to. 🐐
Anyone who had a max weight high strength build in 2k23 knows how much strength made a difference last year. This year if you ignore it you will definitely notice it more. Also, wingspan changed strength last year too but I wonder if more than it did.
I got a 6’6 min weight 7’1 Wingspan 87 Driving dunk 70 Mid 85 3pt 87 pass acc 92 ball handle 83 speed with ball 83 perimeter 81 steal 78 speed 87 acceleration 75 vertical 96 stamina This is the new version I made. He’s 6’6 now with 92 ball handle (up from 87) 85 3pt (up from 80) and I put bare minimum for contacts. This build does not have free throw. It’s only at a 60. And the speed dropped from 82 to 78.
Idk if strength is gonna matter, but it’s needed for both defense and offense, so it has to count for something. I don’t think you ever need 99 strength, but 80-90 is prolly where you want to be.
