You are very welcome. What song inspired you to start to learn the Ukulele? What was the first song you learned? For me it was "Bad Moon Rising," by CCR, the really marked rhythm made it easier for me to strum.
TenThumbs Productions The song which really caught my attention and convinced me to actually buy an ukulele was Lane boy. I just loved how the muting and the rhythm sounded. When I finally got my ukulele, like one month and a half ago, I realized that Lane boy was way too hard for me , as I've never played an instrument before. But I kept practicing and I'm getting better and better! ( at least I hope so😂)So the first song I learned was I'm yours by Jason Mraz! I never would've thought that I was able to play an instrument and am very happy to discover that it actually is possible!!The sound of my ukulele just makes me happy every time I play it.
If you wanna do the beginning and interludes the one that Tyler uses is to use your thumb and pointer finger to pluck at the 1st and 4th string and after your thumb picks at the first string you strum it over the 2nd string and so on and so on during interludes and at the beginning of the song, and during the lyrics he uses the progression f, g, am over c, g. and when you do the picking/strumming patter there's a hammer on the f every 8 counts. so in all it would be hammer on f 8 count strum/pluck x2 . then g for 2 count, then am over c or 8 count, then g for an 8 count. that might sound complicated but if you watch the live at the edge video it might help you understand this easier.
I couldn't get the "hammer on's" so now i guess i'll stick to the piano style, but i think the acoustic is way cooler. i just can't seem to get it right.
omg thank you, I love the simplicity of the piano version style and it's easy enough that I could do it fairly well pretty quick. Thanks so much for such a great tutorial
I just started playing weeks ago and was kinda happy to see that it has just the easy chords I know to play ( but I still struggle with the G chord) But when the strumming part came I was like "Damn..... I'll never be able to play this right?"
can do a tutorial on this version of car radio "Twenty One Pilots - Car Radio (live at the edge)". Many TØP fans are confused on how to do the hammering that tyler did.
For anyone who has a baritone ukulele, or guitar, use a capo on 5th fret and it’ll be the same tuning, or even the same chords still sound like it, just different fingering. Also for bari players you can just fret the 1st fret on your B and E string, then fret 3rd fret, and then fret 5th fret, it doesn’t sound the best but if you’re desperate
I really want to buy that Luna ukulele, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, I started playing about a year ago, and I'm looking for a really really good uke, with one do you recommend?
Michelle Castillon In my opinion I think the Luna ukes are very good. I actually have one of my own. They have nice styles AND very good quality. But one of the ukes i wouldn't suggest is the Makala or Makalala brand or something because they are very cheap and can break easily XD I hope I helped a bit :)
Good question, I recorded both, but I wasn't 100% happy with Polarize, and if I am not 100%, I don't think you guys would be, so I need to work a little harder to get it perfect. The other reason is I have also done a running count of all the videos since we started and of the videos we haven't done, Polarize, Car Radio and Addict with a Pen are the most in demand.
am I the only one who doesn't get how to do the piano "pinching" type of strumming or?????? Like am I just stupid or do others have trouble with this to?
You are not stupid, just unfamiliar. That will come with time. The pinching style insn't actually a strum, that may be where the problem is coming from. You actually just pinch and pull the strings a little bit, when you release them they will make sound at all the same time, similar to a piano. Let me know if that helps!
why dont you explain the acoustic part better? I have to watch it like a thousand times to understand what you are doing:( great job though I love your top tutorials but when you do things like this it annoys me
Hey fren, try this one and tell me what you think. ua-cam.com/video/fndzF47U6uI/v-deo.html That is TØP, if that is to hard than this two chord song is a great place to start ua-cam.com/video/MXiYacQK55Q/v-deo.html It is Fleetwood Mac, but it is easy, if you still struggle leave a comment on one of those videos and let me know what part is the hardest, chords, strum, etc, to see if we can get you past this hard part.
I'm just having some problems with the chords' names, because here in Mexico we call them Do, re, mi, ETC, but in english is with just letters, and I have to memorize them both, but I think it will be okay
Haha, your going to have to talk to Tyler Joseph because I literally played it exactly like he does on Piano and than exactly like he does on Ukulele. Haha.
Thank you so much for the Twenty one pilots tutorials!!! Honestly, I don't know what I would do without these😂
I really love that you are curious and want to learn an instrument, I am happy to help you learn.
TenThumbs Productions You inspired me to get an ukulele and I love playing it! Thank you for that!

after two months G is the easiest but I still can't wrap my head around any strumming pattern
can do a tutorial on this version of car radio "Twenty One Pilots - Car Radio (live at the edge)". Many TØP fans are confused on how to do the hammering that tyler did.

Thanks for the compliment friend, if you struggle let me know how I can help, you can do this!
I'm just having some problems with the chords' names, because here in Mexico we call them Do, re, mi, ETC, but in english is with just letters, and I have to memorize them both, but I think it will be okay
Sos mexicano! Ahhh, con razón, si después de eso todo va a ser mucho mas fácil.
