Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was enamored and in tears when Tyler plated this during the concert. Thank you for making this so that I can play it too!!
It was such a beautiful moment in the livestream, I just had to make a tutorial for it ☺️ thank you so much for watching my videos! I’ll definitely keep Good Day in mind! 😁
I just wanted to say thank you cause I have had my ukulele for five years and always made excuses to not play it. A week ago I finally picked it up and began learning and this is the first song I fully learned cause of this video. It was actually easy and not complicated to understand what you were doing and how you were playing and I've tried learning from other videos but i couldn't really grasp onto certain things like strumming patterns or chords but I watched this two days ago and have been practicing nonstop and now I can actually play the song along with Tyler.
Omg that’s awesome!! I’m glad you started learning how to play and that my video could help ☺️ it really is super satisfying being able to learn ukulele especially when you’re at a point when you can play along to music. I’m really happy for you! And if there is anything you need extra help with, don’t hesitate to ask! Thanks for your comment!
@@noteable Thank you! My biggest struggle right now is just switching between certain chords like c major to Bb major or a major to d minor. Also I watched your video about the campfire melody and bar notes and damping notes are also ones where I struggle. I'm just gonna keep practicing and if you're taking suggestions for songs can you maybe do we don't believe what's on TV sleepers?
thanks a lot! this tutorial is very easy to follow and understand, i learned the song in an hour or so! i now need some more practice, but that's proof that it is a very good tutorial
Tysm for this tutorial! When I watched it in the stream I was almost brought to tears by the songs beauty, I decided to enter myself singing the song for my school talent show and wanted to learn the ukulele parts too, this tutorial helped a lot! Ty! |-/
The combination of these songs is so beautiful and I was amazed the when I first heard it ☺️ I wish you the best of luck in the talent show!! Let me know if you need any extra help!
Llevaba mucho tiempo buscando un tutorial de esta versión, pero este era el único, hoy me animé a verlo y lo entendí a pesar de que está en otro idioma, muchas gracias brooo 😭😭
Your welcome!! This moment was so beautiful in the stream 😭 thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for the next one 😉
Oh my god, thank you so much! I thought it was going to be really difficult to learn, but you made it so easy!! I love this version of Heathen and Trees!! Thank you!!
@@icarusrll since they are both fairly low on the neck, something that might help is if you bring your thumb up more (like in the direction of your face) and wrap it around the neck without touching the strings of corse. This should give you a little more stability as opposed to having your thumb in the center of the neck. I always find that it’s easier to switch between chords if I have a super stable hand position. Let me know if that helps ☺️ or if it doesn’t so I can better solve the problem!
Thank you! This part of the livestream is the reason I ultimately caved and bought a uke. I can't wait to get home from vacation and start learning uke. I played acoustic guitar a bit in high school and have some finger picking experience from that, so I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to jump into this. Lol though as I learned from learning Mulberry Street on piano after not playing piano for a couple years, I'm sure it'll be more difficult than it looks when I get into it. In any case, I'm determined, and I'll get it the same way I got Mulberry Street: determination and lots of practice.
YES! Welcome to the Uke club 😉 I’m so happy you’ll be playing ukulele! Along the way, if you have any questions, feel free to ask whenever. And let me know if you’re eager to learn any songs and have a suggestion for me to make a tutorial. Love the determination and GOOD LUCK!!😁
@@noteable Thanks! So... the uke I bought was the Kala Tenor KA-KTGE-C that Tyler played during the livestream, but I ordered it to ship home, and I'm on vacation in Florida for another week. My nephew wanted to check out a nearby music store, and they had a $60 soprano Kala uke, and I just bought it. Hey, of all the souvenirs I could have bought for $60, an actual musical instrument is not a bad purchase. So now I'll have two ukuleles. At least they're different kinds of ukes with different sounds so it's not entirely redundant. Lol everyone said I should buy a $50 uke before plunging for that $300 uke... I just kinda did it backwards...
@@LWeOAreVOneE awesome! I love the eagerness to get started right away 😜 I have 2 ukes as well: 1 soprano and 1 concert like you! I’m kinda surprised I only have the 2 to be honest 😂 but each style has its own unique sound and I’m sure you’ll love the diversity of every one you buy!
@@noteable hey, day 2 of uke and I've pretty much got Heathens down! I was in Universal Orlando all day too, so I've really only had a couple hours each day. People weren't kidding when they said uke is easy and addictive!

Side Note: I was wondering from the last time you commented but is your user name a movie reference? If so, I love that movie!! If not, you just have a super cool name! 😂

Thank you for the tutorial!! It was really great. Quick suggestion though, maybe have on screen how many times you repeat a note before moving on to the next one?
@@noteable yea no prob! I figured it out eventually and was able to learn the full mash-up thanks to you anyways!! My suggestion would make it a bit easier to follow along I just think
This is a great video. When I watch Tyler performing this you can see he’s using the G string, this thumb, index, middle and ring finger. At 2.12 on the livestream video it really shows it. Do you think this is just his way of finger picking or is he incorporating another note? Thanks for all of you help!
Oh wow that’s a good point!! Maybe he is just the way he’s playing it but it’s hard to tell. I might mess around with this a little more now. Thanks for pointing this out ☺️
