I watched that original video when I was changing my shocks. AND! I bought some cheap ass shocks. Per tradition I will watch this video to replace them
It’s A LOT easier if you loosen the subframe bolts, or even remove them, with a jack under that part of course. The bolts are very long. Lower the subframe or raise it as needed to get sway bar links, control arm bolt holes, etc, to line up. I did my shocks, and each control arm(they call them links) except the toe-link, which appeared in good shape, and sway bar links. 1 hour pre side. Or, like me, two hours on the first side, 1/2 hour on second one. NEVER support/jack from the compression link. That’s the one that goes mostly from to back and bolts to the spring link, which is what the spring sits on, and sits between the spindle and the diff. The compression link is cast aluminum, and I accidentally used a small bottle jack on that to lift other parts for lining up holes, thinking it actually was under the spring link. Well guess what? It snapped the compression link in half. Whoops. I got the tubular Moog versions, but had not planned on replacing those. Easy job though. DO NOT GET THE BOLTS MIXED UP.
Why would you remove the subframe bolts to replace shocks? I mean you do you, just seems like a lot of extra work for something that's not even really in the way. Plus the video doesn't even mention sway bar links or really any other suspension components
On the SRT models yes, the R/T's and below just had the basic ones if I'm not mistaken. The original ones I took off in the previous video weren't branded
Did your stance stay about the same? I was looking at a Bilstein B12 pro kit and am just worried that’s it’s gonna slam my car down and make it unusable over bumps and stuff. I’m putting this in an 06 charger
The torque spec thing was a joke
Top Bolts: 20 lbs
Bottom Bolt/Nut: 70 lbs

Not a bad idea, thank you for the support🤙🏼

Sick car bro love it!
Thank you sir!🤙🏼
If you ever stop making upgrades to *the* magnum you ought to make a compilation from start to end of upgrades
Been starting a little compilation but then magnum will never truly be "done"
@@JesseBusse man's got a literal magnum opus
Thank you for the video
That's what I'm here for🤙🏼
OEM shocks are also Bilstein. Just not B6s.

I have the eibach pro springs, lowered it about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. The Monroe shocks blew out so these actually raised the rear end a little
What size rims and tires are you running?
20x10 front
20x11.5 rear
@@JesseBusse I had no idea that rims that large would fit our cars. What offsets are you using on those ?
@@emarcellus99 +13 front, +28 rear
@@JesseBusse thank you. I really want larger tires in the back.
