If twisting it doesn't work you can try soaring penetrator fluid in there. Just make sure to clean it really well before putting it back together

The amount of coolant that may have been spilled here pales in comparison to how much coolant dumped on the ground when the outlet cracked and blew the hose off. What do you do when you're driving down the road and your radiator hose blows out? As far as getting rid of it, I just poured what I could catch into one of the empty coolant jugs and disposed of it in one container.

Yeah, they went out of business a few months after this video was posted. Great products that were good quality but the customer service is what ended up doing them in. I heard somewhere that you can still call or email them but their storefront isn't available anymore and the website is down.

There are plenty of retrofit DRL/headlight combos available for the C6. And everything before that had pop ups so there's no need for aftermarket. The main theme of the video is just to buy oem headlight or retrofit a higher quality drl into your existing housing

I was able to get mine installed and working, but the bulbs need adjusting upward. And the bolt that does that is pressed right up against a fender wall panel. And to make that a problem, there is a large protrusion that stops access to that bolt from a side angle. The thought of having to remove the bumper and side fenders again, ugh. This is such a pain, but not big enough of a pain, because no shops want to get involved to help. Such is the nature of older cars now, you can't get parts or help. I think people who lease must be laughing all the way to the bank.

All 5.7's from 05 have wires. Starting in 2006, Dodge switched to a full coil on plug design🤙🏼

I see the use for some cases like the GTO, more of just a critique on the 95% of housings and styling choices spyder and spec-d make. I'm sure there's always used oem ones on ebay but it still might have the same issue

@@JesseBusse OEM ones if available are expensive lol. For now I'll have to resort to using a Spyder set soon and I'll probably put my originals in a convection oven we have at work that can go to 180° so I can separate the lens and either repair or replace it. It's bad though, water has seeped inside and the light has I guess heated and cooled that water a lot so it's cracked on the inside and hazy from the inside

Slide out as in how? It's held in place by a center support carrier bearing. If you mean the actual differential itself it's just bolted in place. As soon as you take out the bolts holding the rubber damper it falls down.

@@nategorsline3179 nope, but I did the EGR adaptation and recently, I unplugged the vacuum hose to it and plugged it to kill it altogether. No issues with doing that. 👍🏻

@@nategorsline3179 you need VCDS to do it. Basically it turns down the amount the EGR cycles to keep things cleaner in the intake. Technically it's a "off road" adaptation. 😉 This was for the ALH engine, btw. Its a way to keep the soot down while keeping the intake stock without having to mess around with putting in a race pipe.

You can, I decided not to since 1) I didn't really have a proper way of catching the fluid as you could see. And 2) the car was so low on coolant it was only gonna spill out a little bit anyway

It's just the oem throttle body and the air intake was the more generic style one that K&N offered. Fits both the 5.7 and the 6.1. Hope this helps

Yep, I mentioned in a later video and in this video's description to buy oem sensors. If you buy aftermarket like standard ignition or masterpro, it'll go out after a week or two. Do it right or do it twice. Hope this helps🤙🏼

Can't remember the actual brand but we got it off of ebay. A long as it's new that's what I'd recommend, not a rebuild kit you do yourself. Let me know if you have any other questions

Just unbolt the alternator to move it out of the way, then remove the sensor

If your car is shutting off you'll likely have a check engine light too. I'd get that scanned first before you start to throw money at it blindly
