Wow…just wow! Saw Shawn as guest pastor on life church with Pastor Craig where he discussed anxiety/depression. Been going through it my whole life but as of most recently it was out of control due to recent circumstances. I was on the verge of suicide but Shawn’s commentary on so many REAL topics has saved my life and restored my faith even stronger than it’s ever been. After all he’s been through, to hear of his diagnosis, makes my heart bleed😢. He is a rare gift to us all and I hope/pray for a good prognosis. In my thoughts and prayers everyday brother!🙏❤️👊🏻
That’s where I found him as well, with Pastor Craig. I’ve listened to many of his sermons since and ordered his book immediately. He has helped me so much with his honesty and understanding of what I feel.

Pastor Shawn , we can fight from a place that we can't understand . I had a vision of Jesus on the beach shore holding a woman in white ( His bride ) . She was resting her head on His left shoulder and she was sick , tired , lifeless, weak . She was exhausted. She was barefoot and He was carrying her and caring for her . I asked the Holy Spirit what scripture are You speaking to me about ? He gave me Joshua 1:9 Did I not command you ? Be strong and of good courage and do not be dismayed fir the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
Iam learning to rest in Him and her head was near His heart ❤️.

There is an acceleration that we can step into. I imagined a door 🚪 and I saw in the the other side that I want to step into but there is so much on my back pulling me back . I walked through to the other side and imagined everything fell off of me ! Praying for you , with you 🙏 ❤️

I thought I finally had my panic/anxiety under control finally after 4 years of panic attacks all day everyday. This past week though has been rough. When I was younger I couldn’t take it anymore so I got on strong but addictive medication. I had no anxiety anymore but became addicted to benzodiazepines. I stayed on it for 14 years. My new doctor decided it was time to take me off of it and wow it was so hard….it took 4 years, daily panic attacks but finally after a year of being off of it I feel so much better. This week though….it’s been tough. Your videos have been getting me through it and I can’t wait to be back to barely having anxiety. I know I can do it because I’ve done it before. Life gets back to normal. These tough times I just have to pray and feel like I’m not alone. This will pass but in the moment 😥 Thank u for these videos. They REALLY help! 🙏 a lot of ppl can really relate to what ur saying and it helps so much! ❤️

Just finished reading Shawn's book. Wish this book would have been around when I had my own mental struggles. I use to have a friend call me everyday just to make sure I was grounded in "reality" instead of the voices on a lupe inside my head. Right now, I am in my "final season" of life. People are surprised by my reaction. I don't see death as an end but as the final phase of my earthly journey. I get to go "home", be with my Heavenly Father while reuniting with my earth bound family. I'm excited to see my children. Meet the two I never met but carried. I want to see, touch gaze at my only 1 who has been gone now 9 years. I want to hear the choir of angels sing. I wait childr & to hear God's heavenly choir. Music has been such a part of my everyday whether happy or sad it "speaks to me in ways I can't understand but just does. I was looking for fellowship and I don't know how other than divine intervention brought me to Red Rock..I did not know the meaning of worship. I knew/know the meaning of prayer but...I found a safe haven. A place that reassures me that God will receive me with open arms. He not only loves me but already accepts me. For the 1st time in my 66 years, I memorize a Bible verse per instructed a few weeks ago (that reminds me of God's unconditional love and acceptance). No Anxiety about death. Just some about the pain. Cancer day".where all my humanly ways displea punishment

I’ve been fighting addiction,abandoned,and hate for a long time to where it brought me to my rock bottom. My angry and bitterness pushed every important person that should be in my life away so all that’s left is my addiction and a couple people that dont care what happens to me as long as they can take from me whatever they want from me leaving me trying to kill myself while helping and watching. I don’t pray and seek god in my life but I’m tired I keep my head up and stay strong bc I believe nobody should see my weakness so to show I’m never going to back down is through angry, pettiness, and repaying back the evil they gave me. The only person I have is someone that does nothing but lies and manipulates me to thinkings he does nothing wrong and knows I have no where to go and nobody to help me. I looked up addiction anonymous speeches and Can across you. This is my third video already listening to your messages and story’s. Today is my sec day at work since over a year bc I wanted to live and run the streets instead of being a mother a daughter a sister a best friend. Im tired of not being good enough for myself letting myself allow people to treat me as if I’m nothing like a used towel picking me up to use me when they need it just to throw it down and let it. I don’t want to be sick anymore I want to live and be happy and free to be with my kids to watch them grow see my mother be proud of me and know that she cares about me so much she calls me everyday to see if I’m not I want to be loved and to give my love. Im broken and alone in this fight but I will make it through this not alone but knowing the big guy upstairs have been with me this whole time and has something big planned for me soon.

Gods will it’s so often Not what we wanted. But he created us , and he loves you and me. We will both pre vail in the name of Jesus is is nothing and drs aren’t GOD!
Thankyou for the advice. Your intense praying during 2 weeks has really helped me. I am returning from anxiety (that started with poscovid) with the help of God. However, I don’t think any anxiety is an attack by the devil. Anxiety is a message from your inner child that has been hidden for so many years. You probably had traumas in childhood that were (or at least felt like) death threats and that you could not process then, as you had no safe person to do it with. You got the panic attacks when your body (or God?) percieved that you where in a safe season of life and would be able to take in the message from your inner child. But if you fight off the symptom (anxiety) you will not be able to release the memories and the associated feelings. So your body finds another way to show you that there is a problem. You may get physically ill instead. So instead of fighting this new symptom, you could ask the Lord to show you the memories one at the time. (For me it has been around one memory per week). Then look closely at the memory and don’t write it off with the usual ”yes it was tough having to help my alcoholic mother into bed, but I managed” (or whatever your standard ”defence” is). What would you say to yourself as a kid, to little Shawn, if you could go back in time and re-parent him? Ask God to help you, fill you with love and parentwisdom, if you do not find the words. So yes, you may have to invite the anxiety back into your life, as anxiety and horror was what little Shawn really felt, in order for you to stop yor neurological disease and recover. You do not need counseling for this, only God, and occationally a fellow human being if it gets too much. During the whole process, which could take months or years, you need to go for 3 small walks every day. Each one 3 minutes and so extremely slow so it is almost hard to keep your balance. This is your way to convince your body that you are really safe now, so it is OK to bring up these old hurtful memories. Also go to UA-cam and find videos about Trauma and Childhod-PTSD(CPTSD). There is a lot of new research done in this area that ordinary doctors and psycologists have not learned yet. When little Shawn has been soothed for a specific memory, your body may react as mine do with sweating and a lot of thirst and running to the loo. And tense muscles starting to be released, even changing your posture. I have also been using a low dose of SSRI to be able to cope, but not so much so I get all numb and anxiety-free. Praying for you!

My brother you will be In My prayers. I’ve been dealing with a disorder In My body for over 4&1/2 years, & still no answers. I really needed to hear this message this morning to remind me to get back to Ephesians 6! It’s where I’ve been living. Isaiah 41:10 & 13 have been a safe haven for my heart. Jesus told the man who’s daughter was dead “FEAR NOT; ONLY BELIEVE” symptoms lie to our hearts and bear false witness against the Word of God.
Please look up a minister on UA-cam his name is Mike Hoesch He was healed of an external cancer tumor on his chest. I think it will encourage you! It is his personal testimony of the will of God to touch His children.
