I’ve been searching for a message like this. I recently found out my husband was unfaithful and though this was the one that stabbed me the worse, he’s lied about so many things for over a decade. I have been angry, bitter, and carried so much hate in my heart. I wasn’t showing him love at all. Tonight, this message is helping me understand how to be set free. Forgiveness is not fellowship. I can forgive my husband. It’s doesn’t right his wrongs but him changing and actually being sorry will restore our marriage. It’s ok to forgive him. It’s ok to forgive the other women. Pastor Shawn, thank you for being so honest and relatable. God brought me this video just when I needed it. I finally forgave my mother for all her abuse, something I never thought I could ever do. I'm in my late 40s. I am on the cusp of forgiving my father too, and wrote him a letter yesterday, we have been estranged for 12 years. I am hesitant to mail it, but I will try. He is a hypocritical "Christian".. like many, unfortunately... I doubt he's changed, but that's on him. He will be judged in the end. I'm working on forgiving everyone else, too. I used to never believe in forgiving those that hurt you. I wish all those who say that they are Christians were willing to be as real, honest, and forthcoming about the issues that so many have gone through. I wish you were in my neck of the woods. Your sermons are the most relateable and interesting that I've ever heard. Thanks to you, I am becoming more drawn to listening to God's word, it's a daily routine now despite the extreme stress of being homeless. God brought me this amazing message at a time when I was desperate for help - a timing thing that you immediately know it came from God!! I will be listening to it a lot!! Every part of this message has helped me but the biggest gift is the freedom from the guilt of believing that forgiving means i have to stay in a relationship with someone that keeps hurting me over & over & over. What a wonderful light feeling to forgive and remove myself from the situation without all the guilt!! This message has also been a HUGE help in the process of forgiving. Don't panic if I said that unclearly- my part is forgiveness and being open to reconciliation but the freedom I'm talking about is the knowledge that forgiving does not necessarily mean reconciliation.

The only sermon on forgiveness that I've found to be also filled with empathy. It's always angered me when people minimize hurts and make it sound like forgiveness is just easy... For the first time after listening to this I actually feel empowered to pray for those that hurt me, for the first time I actually feel like I can commit to walk the path of forgiveness
I am going to tell you my hand to God that I have neighbors as Christians that are troublemaking lying deceiving destroying the good faith of good people and they never apologize they never say thank you I have bend over backwards to help them even when they had the covid sickness I assisted with so many other things with their family and they all destroy each other I am so thankful that it took the time to listen to this and I've watched both of these sermons thank you so much because I myself was so frustrated and mad and upset I couldn't even tell you the words thank you again be safe peace to you and yours and all

Love this message very wrong. I have a request I have a 21-year-old grandson named Jasiah he has some hurt in the past not sure what it is or who heard him he just says that he has pain. But he really dose not say what kind of pain or who’s causing the pain. But he seems to hold onto it try talking to him about asking Jesus to help him to forgive and move forward. I don’t know why wants to hold to this pain. And Allow Christ to help him to forget and move forward. He has issues with drinking and illegal drug use were he almost die but still doesn’t want to Get on his Knees and ask God to help him forgive so he can move forward. And he also says why god didn’t let him die that day so please please help him and pray 🙏 for my grandson. Thank you so very much god bless you

I’ve been that GUY BEHIND BARS for a decade sentence……. God took me from a drug addicted, lying 🤥, their, that was bound to HELL to a GOD fearing, loving man of the Lord. My brother passed while I was in prison from the herion same drug I his older brother introduced him to😪😪 then after my release I lost my father. I’m stressed and still need PRAYERS for my family and My self. I’m the only man left. Sick physically and mentally. Emotional exhausted but I’m still fighting the fight. And also telling any one out there. That IT WILL be okay for you and ME thru HIM.. Jesus Christ is our practitioner and refuge. Not meds. But if SO ONLY SHORTLY don’t forget the Bible heals NOT pills!! God bless and please pray for me. Jonathan Davis
