Pastor Shawn is one of a kind, his transparency doesn’t make him weak, it’s the total opposite, it makes him so much stronger than any of the others. I am from South Africa and just recently started listening to Podcasts and Red Rocks Church popped up and I basically just thought, well, I may as well listen to it. I am broken. I have been all my life. I am 40, a Mom of two precious girls just surviving, broken beyond repair. I needed to hear this today and I will listen to it over and over again. I pray that one day I will be able to get to a place where I am able to receive Gods plan for me without feeling I am not deserving.

So many of us are broken Olivia. The dreams we had for our future shattered. I'm an alcoholic in recovery and I deeply hurt my children while they were growing up because of my drinking. So now I battle the feelings of guilt in addition to feeling broken. Only God can relieve that. May God hold your hand while you are raising your kids.❤🙏
God absolutely uses broken people. He's using me.
Because of growing up in constant fighting between my parents in my house, I learned how to be strong in many ways, but still developed major health anxiety. I’ve read nearly everything about illnesses and cures. After I got saved and went through more tough times, I started turning the anxiety and all of the information I had in my head into helping people who weren’t sure what was wrong with them physically or mentally. I now have so much knowledge about vitamins and other healing things. Over the years, I have helped so many people with health issues that my friends joke I should’ve been a doctor. My health anxiety still rears its ugly head every now and then, but because of Jesus, I handle it so much better and realize it’s just the enemy trying to hold me down. What the enemy meant for bad, God has turned it around and let me use it to help others. I always tell people that my anxiety keeps me humble and reliant on God. Thank you, Pastor, for this awesome message!
GOD, I feel like the weight of life is holding me down and I cant move. My thoughts are running a marathon of worry and anxiety to my heart, and its easier to just become numb because the pain of trying to feel is just too much. YOU said YOU would be an ever-present help during my times of need. Well, I need YOUR help to get thru this. All of these. Help me to see past this fog of uncertainty and heal the parts of my heart that make it hard to hold on to hope. Open my heart to those YOU send to help me thru this. I started watching your sermons weeks ago because you had panic attacks and I'm going through that plus fear of going out. On my good days I can get my groceries. My church doesn't understand, they think all I need to do is pray. Prayer is important, however the church needs to understand mental struggles.

God uses broken people! I have struggled with my purpose in life after a surviving a car accident by sheer miracle. God saved me for a purpose but since I’ve lost my beloved wife and almost everything I own. I am so broken mentally and financially but I hold through the tears, horrible thoughts and domino effect of crumbling finances. I am starting to believe my purpose is to help others. Please pray for me to find my purpose and to rid myself of my heavy burdens. I love your message that a friend enlightened me towards. I want to live and overcome my difficulties through God and Christ my Savior!

I'm starting to believe this more and more everyday. When I come out on the other side it will be one heck of a testimony. Sometimes after a while in those valleys there seems to be no way but one day you start to see that you weren't alone after all. Thank God that he loves us enough through all of our flaws and brokenness to never leave or forsake us. That is love and the love we should show to each other because of his grace we are worthy to receive it.

Wow thank you pastor cuz I have always felt broken upsidedown and really didn't think God would want me.
Im tired of hurting. Im tired of feeling unloved. Of feeling I am wrong for hurting and grieving this trial I have been going through the past year. I feel like a failure because as a Christian woman still I am here, struggling, still stuck. I think I am too broken. I am losing hope. I believe God can do all things, I really do....but I also believe He gave us free will. I am tired of crying myself to sleep. Waiting for a change, for a miracle in this trial. I feel so alone, so hopeless. I can't see the light in my situation. its been over a year of this. when? what am I doing wrong? why isn't God hearing me. All I want is to be loved by my husband. To move passed this season. All I want is kindness, an embrace, a hug, compassion.
