Excellent work! Thank you 🙏🏽. As someone who has played guitar for long time , I always struggled with this one. You broke it down perfectly

good tutorial.. gets the foot in the door with regards to the chords and chord changes.. the strumming here is way more complex than it seems when listening..but worth the practice to learn!

Could someone explain what the forward slashes mean in relation to these tabs? I was under the impression that "/" meant a slide, are they being used here to count bars, or notes, or something else?

It means that you play a specific note on the “bass” of a chord. So, for example, if you have C/B, you’re gonna play a C chord but with a B note on the bottom. If you have C/G, you’re gonna play a C chord but with a G note on the bottom. Same with D/F#.

@@isaaccharbel9754 No, I understand the chord notation, I mean the bar notation, so between the repeat symbol for the intro, does the /// under the G mean three strums?

@@pixearles oh! Apologies! I believe it has to do with how the chords are changing with respect to the bars, so you could count it like this: one bar of 3/4 for the G, one bar of 5/4 for the C/G, a bar of 3/4 for the C/G again and finally a bar of 5/4 for the G. So, in your head, you’d be counting “one two three one two three four five one two three one two three four five”.
You could just count everything in 4/4, but then the changes feel sorta out of place.
