What a Blessed journey with your Granddaughter⛵ The way Natasha smiles and blushes routinely in your conversations is an homage to a life well lived, Mr. Vermeer 💜💜

Fantastic experience for the two of you, and she learned ice theft, vodka and cards. A true pirate in the making.

Funny guy! I'd forgotten all about that (already). No warrants have been issued that I know of.

Your granddaughter will have all these memories for the rest of her life and can refresh it any time she wants. 🍻

She's been sailing since she was 6. Unbelievably, she still wants to go out! We're headed for the west coast of Vancouver Island again this summer, she'll meet me at Ucluelet for a week in Barkley Sound. Nice

Natasha is just wonderful. Although after watching this video with her the rest seem to be missing a bit of sparkle! You are truly a lucky guy Bert.

She does liven up the videos no matter what she does! A bit more inspiring than watch old guys on an old boat! The faux front cover for Good Old Boat was a lark. I knew they wouldn't use it, no life jacket! We're all so politically correct and don't want to upset anyone!

Howdy Bert, how'r you enjoying your Leich & McBride sails? I'm going to use them for my 110. Made in Canada/USA, that was important to me. Natasha cracks me up, she's such a good sport... bet those nails be great for scraping barnacles off the hull ;) Cheers

The current set of sails are about 3 years old now, the second set from Leitch & McBride. That I would go back to L&M says enough. I value their hands-on service and quality of sails at a competitive price. Yes, I could have gone off-shore with one of the catalogue distributors, but for the difference in price I value the local support behind the purchase. I've had to take numerous sails in for clients (I work on boats) and the results have always been exactly (or more) than what has been asked. I'm currently in the Broken Group of Islands in Barkley Sound, west side of Vancouver Island, and heading further north along the coast. Natasha will, once again, be joining me in mid June for a week of sailing, nails or no nails! Enjoy the summer (when it finally gets here!).

@@Cacheola I'm going to try get up to Kyuquot and the south end of the Brooks Peninsula (Columbia Cove and the Bunsby Islands. Sitting in Barkley Sound in the rain this morning. A sailing buddy from Victoria is headed home from Ucluelet on Friday and then I will start the push north. Meeting sailing buddy Paul (from previous videos) at Kyuquot in about two weeks.
