Great question! The Ford Ranger has a shorter wheelbase but is wider compared to the 79 Series LandCruiser. However, the exact payload capacity can vary based on the model specs and mods made, such as GVM upgrades or aftermarket additions. Always best to check the specs of your particular build to be sure!
@@gcitraytec nah mate not at all. For what they’re built for, mines and farming they’re great…as a touring rig they’re absolute crap which is evident by the amount of stuff you have to change on them just so you can stand to be in them for a few hours (seats, sound deadening, wheel track and on and on it goes). My touring vehicle is a decked out Silverado 2500 and play truck is a chopped gu patrol.
Surprised you are doing &70’s Toyota, I called 2 years ago to find out about a tray and canopy. Got told that you are only doing American trucks. Wonder how much business you have lost.
Hey mate, appreciate you sharing that. We've expanded our lineup and are now doing almost everything, including the 79’s. 💪 If you’re still keen, we’d love to help you out!
Of course I’ll go with aussie engineered ranger
Gotta love backing the local legends! 🇦🇺 The Aussie-engineered Ranger definitely brings a lot to the table.
Nice built, you reckon is the ranger wheel base longer then the 79 plus is it wider as well, how's the payloads compared between the two

Gotta go the old farm truck!
You just can't beat it! 🤙
Toyota number one
Gotta respect the loyalty! 💪
You couldn’t give me a garden shed 79…absolute overrated crap!
Haha, not a fan, hey? 😅 The 79 might be a bit like Vegemite-either you love it or you don’t! What’s your go-to rig then?
