When she and Chris, Siouxsie and Sean were just regular musicians trying to make it like any other bands in LA trying to make it. I saw her and the others from time to time. One thing that sticks out to me in regards to Emily, is how devoted she was and is to music. It was and is her passion. She was and is willing to work hard and do whatever it takes for success. Yeah, she is talented. But you know what? She also worked INCREDIBLY hard to get where she is. Basically the story of Emily Armstrong and Dead Sara is a story of persistence and hard work over a very, very long time. Emily isn't an "overnight" success that Mike just picked at random. She and Dead Sara had opened for LP back in 2014 and she has been at this game since she was a teenager. They are all nice people. Speaking of Chris, I used to live a few blocks away from where Chris used to work (before he was famous he had a regular day job like anyone else.) I used to talk to him from time to time... This was many, many years ago, like over 10 years ago.
