You can also mix the cantaxin or carophyll into your egg food mix yourself, usually 1 gram per kilo. Also works well. The disadvantages of coloring the birds through the water is that at some point the entire cage will be covered with red splashes because birds are generally quite messy. And stop feeding color as soon as the moult is over, the feathers will hardly absorb it and it is actually not good for the liver of the birds. I am curious if you will see a difference between the different products.
How long does it take to tint a bird with this colored egg food? Does this color egg food only affect the current parent bird or does it apply only to the offspings, newborn chicks?
Good video. How did colour feeding begin.was it the the old miners who started colour feeding.. and how many different breads of canary are there . And what happens to the birds you don't want after the show season. Etc.. do you manage to sell them OK. Or do you keep them.. very good see your videos .😎😻😺

I know its probably a really dumb question to all you old hands. But do you have to colour feed red factor canaries? If you dont colour feed them, does their colouring fad

I don't like using artificial products for my food or my birds. So I make all my own eggs food and don't use commercial egg food or any vitamin supplements. It use eggs from my own chickens to make egg food, with organic vegetables. I don't see a need to add vitamins if they have a varied diet. I also feed sprouted seeds, pulses and legumes etc. Do you think there is a way to colour feed the birds naturally? Perhaps feeding carrots and red coloured berries, beetroot etc?

Great video
Good video good information
You can just bathe them in warm food coloring and they will turn the color you put them in. People can eat food coloring so it's harmless
Thats way too stressful to the bird
Cantax is mixed 1g to 200ml of water...
Is it okay give it to 2-3months old youngster when they first moulting
