The value that men like yourselves have to you young men who could take wrong turns in life cannot be overstated, it’s vital because you have the tough edge that is the one thing they either respect or are slightly afraid of. I’m sorry life treated you so badly that you went through tough times. I lived in Liverpool and Manchester in the late 80s through the 90s and into the 2000s before leaving for work. I have great fondness for the north west, some of the most decent and honest people I’ve come across in this country… I live in the quiet countryside now and it breaks my heart to see how tough life has become for so many people in those areas. Gentlemen thank you for getting yourselves straight and offering something back to the communities from which you hail… I honestly think you’re one of the only things that can make a difference to the young men who might go wrong. Big respect to you and your channel Billy for showing a balls and all view of the country!

Nice to see Paul on your podcast Bill. I'm glad to see he is doing well and keeping his head together.
I was away with Paul from 2010-2014 in Walton. When he had not long started that IPP sentence, then we ended up in HMP Garth together.
Sure enough, his reputation preceded him, but I personally found Paul to be respectable, old sckool and a gentleman.
What you see in this interview is Paul, straight talking with no bullshit. He is somebody you definitely want on your side when you're kicking about in them shitholes that's for sure.
I know Paul has much more to share and much more to give, but his time is better spent in the gym training the youngins and being a mentor.
Talking about the past in front of the camera isn't easy for anyone, but for those who have actually lived that chaotic and violent life inside an out for years, it's time you would rather put behind you with lessons learnt. Especially when you are genuinely trying to move on with your life and better yourself.
Still, it was a pleasure to see Paul, again, and even better to hear he is doing okay for himself, as I haven't seen him for 9 years or so...
Nice one, Billy, and a big shout out to Paul for doing this interview! Hope you're keeping okay, lad! Takecare,
    John B.
    B/head.

@@colinbrazier8836 I'm not sure it's that simple. As primary care givers we influence our children by our own beliefs and behaviours. If our children don't feel loved, they can grow up believing they aren't worthy of being loved, even if they meet someone who does. The inner voice says they can't really, they are just saying it etc etc, because if a parent doesn't, then nobody can. Also, if you witness feelings being managed through violence, you are more likely to see it as normal. It's only later, with help, they can try and undo the damage... many can't or it takes a long time.

Hello Bill, I know I haven't commented on any of your videos yet, but I have more or less watched most of them, and like the openness and genuineness of your stories, so it didn't surprise me when I seen Paul on this video, he's a very humble guy, and so intelligent, I was in Lindholme with him, sat in his Pad with him on Social a few times, on the Induction wing, had so many chats with him, lovely fella, and his presence can be felt, so if you could say a little hello from me please my mate, thanks Deano....

Lovely to see Mr Harding. You are right billy lad, it’s an extremely tough place, jail…by far one of the hardest by reputation scousers I’ve ever met. I’ve spent lots of time with Paul in lots of prisons, at least 3 jails, and he had major clout in all of them, along with getting huge respect. I’m pleased to see this man still alive & kicking. Putting something back, this man people could learn more than you think from. Answer to your question: The screws treated you very differently when you had a reputation. I’d get away with murder in there… 20 canteens on my bed wouldn’t get touched. Good to reminisce while watching this …. Keep well Mr Harding

Thank you for the shout out Billy !! 💯❤️💫😇 Paul’s face lit up lad when he heard my name! 😃 I see that sparkling glint in his eyes is still there for all to see! You’ll get tons of fascinating stories about everyone and everything I feel if only you get those hours in with paul as he will begin to really open up as he’s a genuine top fella with an incredibly gifted mind to match 💯

Hi Bill was enjoyable your chat with Paul. A longer podcast would be great. I bet you’ve both got more stories be good to hear. Seems a really chilled humble guy. That’s what I like about your stories and your manner. It’s always told with humility and humour too though.

Nice to see Paul doing well, not seen him for a while, I was training pro boxers in the 051 gym when John was helping him out, he came to London to support one of our boxers on a weekend, I also remember him boxing as a youngster a couple of years behind me, always come across as quiet and funny, good luck to him
