Really struck me when he talked about how he’d always expected to end up in prison. To him the money was likely the bonus to a predetermined outcome. Glad hes trying to help other people because realistically prisoners need help so they don’t reoffend. If you turf them out with nothing of course they will commit crime.
Great lad John .. used to go the game with him back in the day .. the lap dancing bar was great 🤣🤣🤣 .. great to see him looking well out and about and putting his energy into his project which has really taken off and helping a lot of people who are getting out of jail into full time employment and training for trades
Fair play to this guy, its very easy to be stuck in the cycle that he was in, but he's not just changed his life, nor those of those who have been inside, but the families of those who have been inside. How many young kids now have their parent in their lives showing the power of honest work. It shows that everyone can change, provided they are given an opportunity to do so. Yes not everyone will succeed first go, but most people will. Hopefully politicians around the world start to develop a mindset that rehabilitation results in a more positive society than just pure punishment. And yes of course there are exceptions to this, but I bet they are a minority on the grander scale.
A product of your environment Put this man in a life starting again as a child in a different environment and he doesn’t end up in crime and 100% still succeeds.
He done his time Hopefully turned his life around..seems that way..well done son..well narrated storytop villains in the pool...when people were thinking about it they done it!
He says at the end of his first sentence he was angry as he got hit with a 14 mil fine and his businesses and properties were impounded which likely caused his family problems. He was desperate to get it back and as quickly as possible. And so greed got him, as it does everyone in the end.
Crazy thing about these stories, and crimes, and events, similar things are happening right now and someone will be sat on another episode of 'Minutes With' in 5, 7, or 10 years, to share a similar story.
Life is a journey… sometimes it really is a mission, but looking back I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I Look In The Mirror: When I look in the mirror what do I see? Someone my mother wanted me to be? Someone my father, partner, brother…wants me to be? Or is it the person I Want Me to See? When I look in the mirror I wink and smile Life’s been a journey - every mile Sometimes I laughed and sometimes I cried There were even times when I nearly died. When I look in the mirror what do I see? The person I Want Me to Be! Every mistake was a lesson…but I blossomed and grew…the person in the mirror is the one person whom I truely understand and trust…I’m a good lady… - and who cares what the rest of the world thinks. Be yourself!
Seems like crime does pay. This guy lived the life, spent a few years in prison and went right back to normal. Wish I was smart enough to be a criminal and make some real money. Instead of earning peanuts in retail.
From $10K to $25k that's the minimum range of profit return every week I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family
What aload of waffle... everyone I know has a past worse than this.. but talking about making it sound cool and doing time fuck that the trick behind it is not getting caught... drugs and dealing is a mugs game...
It's been around for time but most people smoked hash in the 80s as weed was full of seeds n crap people weren't knocking out tons a week n that there wasn't that big demand for it weed only got big in early naughties
@wanhunglo7234 No i remember weed in the late 70s around toxteth dingle chinatown wavetree, weed was big already round there all the young lads were onit i remember the grafton being fogged out in the early 80s because everyone in there was smoking it
He turned his life round, now he's helping others. Good on him.
Had the pleasure of working with John. We have employed lads from his post prison programme through inside connections.

Seems like a sound guy just a product of his environments and eventually turned his life round well played

Decent fella & i hope he stays straight,
One minute he said he only sold weed as the coke carried to big a sentence then proceeds to say how he served time for selling coke 😂😂
When shipments come in they arrive with things that were not ordered by your firm , guns coke , heroin meth the lot 🥴
Editing
I think he means ‘selling’ as in, comparative to proper importers he was fairly low level on C.
He says at the end of his first sentence he was angry as he got hit with a 14 mil fine and his businesses and properties were impounded which likely caused his family problems. He was desperate to get it back and as quickly as possible. And so greed got him, as it does everyone in the end.
