Shed Hunting Iowa Week 6

In Week 6 I finally get off the goose egg trail and find some of my biggest sheds of the year. I have been looking for a certain Buck's antlers and have been striking out. We could finally cross the river and it paid off big time!!

Squirrels should be in season all year long. Some dandy finds. So much squirrel damage across the board. Start also hunting squirrels there. What an outing! That place is a trophy gold mine. You can hunt there yet. Hey lucky you lads. Good luck putting some of those big boys on your walls. Keep going your on a roll. I am already subscribed.

Thanks. We will keep posting our outings on this and another new farm. I’m shooting for nothing smaller than 150 but easier said than done some years

That’s what happens when they drop early in the timber. At least I know the deer are still alive. It gets me amped for bow season.

Bastard squirrels the one shed still had blood on the base so that one just fell off and look how fast they chew em until

All of these were in bigger timber. It’s like the squirrels watch them fall off.

@@jasonnester9514 It’s a fine line between bumping the deer out and getting chewed up. I could always just leave them some small ones for treats to leave to big ones alone
