In fact, it’s cringe when people say “best in the world,” you should say “best among those who have played” because there’s someone out there in the world that hasn’t had the privilege of competing that’s even better than “the best in the world,” as you people say.

Ah he took it very well though and I think he was overall ok with how he played. Kurama is a very hard player to beat in a set even for top 10 players. I mean he’s beaten spargo at a major and kola. Quid played great.
@@TopOfAllWorlds I honestly didn’t know when I first read your comment, just decided to watch this match for the 1st time since I was bored. However I looked it up and found that he’s 18 years old today. He’s an impressive gamer who has a very compelling profile, it could be enough to push him over the edge like most others never do in their smash career if he keeps up the good work. Wonder if he’ll have time for romance with all the smash bros stuff though ;00
when kurama is on, it’s almost unfair for his opponents. it’s unfortunate it seems like he hasn’t quite conquered the mental game, but he will get there. highest of highs when he’s clicking though.
@@ShadyPhysicisti think it was pretty even and it came down to the last game(2-2) and kurama is the best in the world for a reason but i think quid held his own
Charizard nair is disgusting offstage especially if you time the tail. Nothing flashy but definitely gimps. It sends just far out enough where at least half the cast can't make it back. Especially if you jump read them and almost always charizard can make it back.
@davidsayas5775 it is really good however how people are sdi in this game now is crazy. I prefer zard nair because it only hits once and covers alot of space. And the ability to reset their recovery with flamethrower and then ledgeslip nair is pretty broken against alot of characters. Also if your opponent does happen to trade the hit zard's weight is great 👍
Kurama coulda have punished the switches way sooner. Also lost game one for not respecting up throw while underneath the platform. Should have easily been a 3-0 for Kurama
Holy fuck, this set was fire from start to finish
for how little top level practice Quidd gets, he does quite well
ehh
How do you know he doesn't have top level practice???
@@christianrowell1081He mainly plays against Long Island’s best, which are very good, but none of them are Kurama Level.

I never would have guessed that from his performance in this set.

That game 2 comeback was raw
It was an epic comeback.
Shows how stupid early pt can kill off the side if you’re not careful
Ultimate has insane ivysaur vinewhip action
This set hurts as a PT fan... Great showing from Quidd, though!
Still a very fun watch though. Always love seeing quidd play
I learned alot watching this set, quidd inspired me to pick up pt

3:27 ngl they had us going that third stock
Neutral getup read at 38% and he DIED
Mario Mishima is honestly too true
It’s kinda funny how in the start of each match, they just unanimously agree to charge up their respective pushback water specials and it’s so silly
Kurama is so fun watch damn he's good
Bro this guy Kurama is CRAZY fast 👏🏻👏🏻
I really enjoyed these matches and especially the commentary! Great video
I love how you can have 3 strats with the pokemon trainer
That's a pro and a con
