1:48 So... - Detective Loach, who was Janice's colleague, used Janice's death as a tool to blackmail Barry into killing Ronny because his wife dumped him and dated Ronny in season 2. - Barry hallucinated about everyone he has killed standing on the beach, except for Janice, who never showed up there, in season 3. (like Barry totally didn't give af about her) - Reporter Lon O'Neil kept interviewing Gene, Barry and Jim to sell his piece about Janice's death and gain more popularity. - Gene broke the promise with Jim about not exploiting Janice's death, then told reporter Lon about said story by painting himself as hero. And even after 8 years, he came back to sell Janice's story again to Warner Bros...then half-assed changing his mind a little bit...then back to supporting Barry movie again by rewriting history about Barry to be a more sympathetic character and mentioned Barry killing Janice as a "stupid thing" just to keep Mark Wahlberg in the film. Janice might be dead long ago but it's disgusting that these people keep desecrating her corpse for their personal gain...which is why I love this show. It's a straight insult to the exploitainment media like Dahmer show, Pam and Tommy and Blonde.
I really thought Gene had changed, that he was a good person and had let go of his ego. Such a beautiful shot
