Low Power, Cool Running, DRAM less = perfect for Laptop OS C: Drives... SPEED without the HEAT. Easy low power draw on the Notebook battery too... You made a Good Choice !
nice review, nice channel, speak a little bit slower, and update your microphone, and you'll get a lot of views, thanks for your review my friend, a new sub here!
Hi Ovidiu, do you think 2500TBW is a realistic value? It seems too good to be true to me. And also, for a usual user/gamer is imposibile to write that amount of TB in 5 years.
Catalin, I tend to credit them as I think is achievable through firmware tuning with the cost of random write speed. The case of Spatium M480 vs FireCuda 530 - both with basically the same hardware but with endurance favoring Seagate - hard to tell which one is more realistic.
why not test the performance when it's more than 25% full (after SLC cache all filled)? I'd like to see how bad the degradation is since it's dram-less.
The MP44 and SN770 2TB are both the same price right now. Which one would you recommend as a system drive? Would the worse random writes of the MP44 really be noticeable?
Current prices make difficult to recommend anything. Check the graphs in the 'Gaming Performance' section and the prices in your region then pick whatever fits in your budget.
@@AlteredVibesSN850X is a born champion and it can be a little more expensive than MP44. On the other hand all SSD prices have risen about 10% in the last 2 months which can make people pick something just because is cheaper. A better pick than MP44 may be Lexar NM790. I am working on the review about it
i ended up buying a vengance and it didnt fit my pc is there anything else i can go for that isnt teamgroup? but that will fit my pc..... sorry im a nooby just starting...i just want more ram for my pc right now i have a prime Z690-p d4 motherboard with rtx 3070ti would getting more ram be something my pc needs as my nesxt upgrade or should i try upgrading it from another part ?
@@ovistech those advices though were before the graphete "sinks" and somewhere i have read for a normal pc system those graphete solutions have better heat performance than those with a complete aluminium heat sinks.. but in ps5 the room is very limited for air thats why i am not so sure...
Awesome review, thanks Ovidiu!
Thanks for watching!

If the included tests are not sufficient for an informed acquisition decision then no other extra testing will do.

Definitely MP44 would do better.
@@ovistech in the end I ordered the SK Hynix Platinum P41 2TB as it is a better drive than both of them and cost only 15$ more.
@@Benzin0 A solid pick. Regards.
For gaming, do you think recommend what ssd?

What do you think I should get? WD Black SN850X 2TB WDS200T2X0E vs Teamgroup MP44 2TB TM8FPW002T0C101
Have you seen the video? What is your use case? How much do they cost in your area?
@@ovistech I did but looking a random speeds between the two, WD wins

Will this ssd be good for a rog ally z1 extreme ?
For that device you will need a NVMe SSD in 2230 format like WD_BLACK SN770M, Lexar PLAY 2230, XPG GAMMIX S55.
I'm sure they would be great if you don't get a 4tb one dead out of the box.
I had one MP44L 1TB returned to warranty as it was freezing the system so I got you ;)
so it gonna be fine in a ps5 without an extra heat sink?
Possibly, I cannot validate such a statement. Both TeamGroup and Sony advice for heatsink usage.

Im torn between the mp44 4tb or a adata s70 blade 4tb. Which one would you recommend?
MP44 as it is newer and performing cooler. Worth checking the price of NM790 4TB if available in your area.
go with the mp44, the adata s70 has a trash controller.
